Not to be a creep or anything, just curious. Plus it'll give me something new to read in Gen. Chat.

I'll begin!

I am a manager of a 16-plex Regal Cinemas Theatre. It's a fairly enjoyable job, my pay is decent, and they are very flexible with my schedule. It's not something I plan on doing for the rest of my life, but its putting me through school! Plus its provided me with the oppurtunity to do some neat things (like operate a 35mm projector).

How 'bout you? Where do you work?

I actually work for a NICO sponsor as an account manager. Be jealous. The pay is good, I don't work weekends, I don't have to deal with the general public and everyone there loves cars just as much as I do. What's not to like?

I own a retail shoe store. I work every weekend.......

"Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. "

I'm a website and graphics designer here locally for a small web design company. The pay is good, the schedule is flexible, and I don't have to work weekends. Hands down the best job i've had in my working career, been there for 2 years and don't plan on ever going anywhere else.

I hate working weekends. I mean I dont mind but I would perfer every other weekend off or atleast once a month. Im ganna try not to ever work for a big corporate company again. The pay is sh***y, Corporate doesnt give a s**t about you, work all weekend every weekend, long hours including all day on holidays while all the managers are off enjoying their day while you earn barely $60 for a 10 hr day doing nothing but missing a social life. I mean seriously, who the F*** wants to buy tires at 8pm on 4th of July!! Its a National Holiday!! F'ing bulls**t!! Its no different on Christmas. Christ, even McDonalds closes earlier than that!!

Every job I've had has required me to work weekends. The call center I worked last summer was the worst. They had me working from like 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. It ate up every usable minute of my day. The stupid thing was that there were like three people who were hired with me who hated going in early (I'm a bit of an early riser) and would've killed to have had my schedule, but no matter how much we begged, no one would do a thing about it.

I work from home. I almost never get days off, but I can take my time doing everything except an on-site install.

Lately it's been out doing small solar installs that [power cameras for construction sites.

I scoop ice cream for Coldstone Creamery. My schedule is extremely flexible and the pay isn't bad as tips are good. I'll probably work there through college.

I always tip well at Coldstone. When I worked at a Doubletree hotel, scooping ice cream and preparing dessert was my least favorite part of the job.

this.

I sit in stop-and-go bumper-to-bumper traffic 35minutes both ways to/from work. The doorknob shocks me on my way into the office. The coffee is terrible. Every day I contemplate going on a Wanted rant and storming out. But I don't.

But hey, its work. :gotme

Oh, I forgot to mention the one crappy thing. I drive 35 miles one way to work. Which takes anywhere from 40 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on how stupid people feel like driving that day.

All over the world. I dont have an office building that I drive to each day, my job as a Network Engineer is 100% travel. Each weekend (or so) I have an apartment that I "visit."

Ouch! I can say that the one great thing about living in the middle of nowhere is that I don't have to deal with traffic. I can be at work or in a town with stuff to do (movies, shopping, etc.) in 20-30 minutes. It actually takes about the same amount of time (sometimes less) that it takes me to get across town when I'm at school.

In short, living in the country=win.

I love my commute, it takes me 15min to get to the office, and I live outside of town. My wife has an even better one, the hospital she works at is less than a mile from our house

The worst commute for me has been 40 miles one way, with hardly no interstate involved. Best one has been less than 5 min.

I work in this s*** little "internet cafe" that's really just legal gamb|ing via some loophole. It's work. Thinking about maybe trying to get into the US Marshal's program in the future.

Is that something you enjoy? Personally, I would hate not having a "home" but I know a lot of people would love it.
