Is that something you enjoy? Personally, I would hate not having a "home" but I know a lot of people would love it.

Yeah i think this sounds pretty awesome. Do want
Like anything, it's got it's positives and negatives.
Good:
-I've never met my boss.
-Nobody tells me what hours to work (obviously the job has to get done though).
-When I'm on the job site, I'm 100% autonomous. Nobody tells me how to do a project, nor do I have to pass things through people. My project manager (whom I've never met either) knows that I've been operating in a senior capacity for years and knows that I know best.
-Always a new location. I'm a creator, not a maintainer.
-If a job site is unresponsive or if I am not doing anything, I have the ability to save billing hours by calling AMEX and booking a flight back home.
-I have a team of folks I hand picked. I am their senior but not their babysitter. I dont write reports on them, nor do I handle their problems. We have a very professional relationship that applies to the job and the job only. If someone doesn't cut it, I have the ability to axe them from my team and send them back to the PM for reassignment on some other project.
Bad:
-I miss my cat.
-I cannot work on my cars/kart during the week.
-My weekends are always very time consuming. I have to make sure I handle EVERYTHING I need done during that week in two to three days. This also has to coincide with the fact that I average 25-30+ motorsports events each year (it's only mid-April and I've already clocked 10 days on track).
-My friends outside the motorsports world get pretty neglected.
-I dont get much rest at all.
-I have a massive amount of stress put on me between being the go-to person and trying to compete nationally in motorsports.
-I dont really know my way around my city. I dont even know where a Denny's is.
-It's very hard to eat properly and I need to lose weight to be able to get close to the minimum 380 lbs (kart + driver).
