i work at the local chevy dealer cleaning all the new cars. does pay bad liek $8 to 10 a car and can get up 14 an hour if i work my *** off. i dont think it is bad for 17 years old

I sell drugs. :-) No, really, I do. Pharmacy technician at CVS. $8.25/hour. Work with great people, but it's a lot of work most of the time, trying to keep up with all the prescriptions. Plus, dealing with old horny men complaining about their Viagra not being covered by insurance, or even worse, seeing Viagra covered by Workers Compensation, or the Connecticut State program isn't my idea of good customer experiences. Looking elsewhere for employement . . . I enjoy working on cars and computers, so Circuit City, or maybe a car dealership, here I come . . .

I quite Best Buy in February and was getting paid $8.82 an hour. Now I just got hired at Circuit City and I'm going to get paid $9.75.

I'm a full time student at Central Washington University studyin psychology.

I used to work at QFC. My manager loved me but only cuz I actually did the work he asked me to. Worked for J&R Construction in Marysville WA.

Now I work for Prestige Builders construction company during the summers for 12.50 an hour in Edmonds. It'll make you real sore working construction 40 hours a week, but the pay is descent and it makes me buff

I'm very surprised at how many of you have little or no contact with automobiles during your workday. I am assistant manager at the (time to toot my horn) most well known independent tire dealer in the northwest. between salary and bonus i make well over six figures per year, and the best part is i get to work on cars of all kinds all day long, every day. i get a huge discount on all parts and can order parts from anywhere in the world.

i skipped the whole part about go into debt trying to pay for college and eat top ramen noodles every day for four years and went straight for the money. i work my *** off day in and day out, but the payoff is doing something i love and getting paid very well for doing it. my company offers a tax free retirement trust which will exceed $500k when i retire. not bad for a car guy.

I was wondering if anybody else here was making any money. I work for a chemical company making $26-$27/hr they really dont want use to know how much we make and its almost impossible to figure out. Cool job i only work 14 days its shift work lots of time off. Also i own a sawmill turns logs into lumber. Its great to work for myself but i work my *** off. Between both jobs i am pulling down well over 6 figures also.

it's cool to know that people can still go to work every morning and work with their hands and get dirty and sweat and bust their knuckles and earn real money doing it. personally, i wouldn't have it any other way. i'd probably go nuts if i had to wear a suit to work and be a lifeless drone. just my opinion.

I work for a Nissan and Subaru Dealership here selling. Yep, im a car salesman. Buy hey, i get to jump in a 350Z and take it to McDonalds if I want. Hell, I even get to go to Phoenix for the WRX STi ride and drive in August. Its gonna be on a track, timing our laps and everything.

Biggest bonus in addition to the hella good pay, its the cost on Nissan factory parts. My price is better than most used or refurbed parts, and theyre new! Woohoo!

I'm a software analyst for a health care company, if any one knows of Renal Care Group (we work with diabetics) I've probably viewed every line of computer code for all of their software.....pay is junk cause I'm a brilliant 19 year old $12 an hour or so......

Just out of curiousity, how did you get your job? It seems like sales would be the most desirable job at the dealership (non-technical at least) and would be tough to get.

I bust my bum on the graveyard shift for $14 an hour, not bad for Maine. I work in shipping/receiving at country kitchen, I probably moved some of the bread you east coast guys eat. I wont tell you what I do to it. Just joshin.

I have 2 lifeguarding jobs this summer. (70-80 hours a week) they pay 8.50 an hour and the other is 13 an hour.

I also run errands for my family business, get paid 10/hr.

oh yeah im only 19, so thats alot of jobs for me
