I'm a full time-student, 16 hours a week in mechanical engineering. I've been working at a smoothie king for the last year and a half, 30-40hours a week. I know it sounds lousy, but its actually the coolest job ever. All the guys I work with are friends of mine that I actually hang out with, I don't have to wear a uniform, I get all the vacations I want, $6.50/hr + whatever's in the tip jar. My manager's the coolest lady ever, used to be a crack whore (seriously), so she's really laid back and hooks me up with all the loretab and vicodyn I need. My other job doing small installations for all the cheap ricers around here who don't know **** about cars. Just basic stuff like exhaust, intake, brakes and suspension. It's kind of cool, but I have to act like I don't know them when they pull up in their ricer mobiles.

I'm a full time student (accounting major) and a full time sauté cook hauling in a measly $12.50 an hour. I also have a band that supplements my income nicely. I am one broke mofo.... luckily school will be done in a few years and I think I'm going to sell drugs.;)

(pharmaceutical sales seems to be more lucrative than accounting)

I'm an Oracle Database Consultant working for a small services company. Pay is below market value, but considering the economy's impact on IT I can't complain... at least it is good enough that I was able to save up for my 240!

What's it like in Okinawa, is it restrictive because it's an island. That's the reason why I didn't want to go to pearl harbor. People say it's pretty cool for the first few months but then everything gets kinda old.

Peace.
