okay mines a 2 parter, becuase i showed my brother the thread too.
first me. i would end up with an 87 honda crx si (1st gen mad power house) with a b20CRV-tec swap (2.0l honda crv engine with type-r integra head and manfiold) running full built internals, low compression pistons and head gasket, X-S triple ball bearing turbo and massive front mount intercooler and 15-18psi boost, 3 inch exhaust, custom header, fully adjustable suspension and a true wide body/wheel base set up.... did i mention the full cage?
second matt. I know this guy who has a 1986 Colt Hatch back with the 1.5 liter Mitsu engine, you know the one with the sweet one barrel, for $250. Yeah that's right, it has the four speed. Any way, first to go, definitely that lame *** one barrel, I am yanking that and throwing a YFA in it out of a 300 cube ford straight six. thats like a 4 horse mod right there, and then I would cut the exhaust right before the cat and through a glass pack off a junk yard camaro.... another 3 horses, no prob.... But you got to look good too, right, so install the smooth sunbird wing action( very compatible mod with only drywall screws and no drilling or welding), and cut some ram air instant poooower off a wicked junkyard firebird..... then simply cut the colt hood with a blowtorch, and then through bolt on RAM AIR!!! Another 1.5 horse power, getting us well in to the mid to lower 60s. Then cut the stock springs, throw on a set of four spoke first gen Mazda RX-7 wheels, again junk yard worthy item, and then now its time to lay some Earl Schieb on her, yeah lay out the paint. Hook it up at the h0m0 depot in the OOPs rack, its either light green or orange, either way it works. Remember to put vaseline on the windows and head lights, and if you have enough, even the tires, before you monochrome the ***** with your six dollar roller set... then the interior, Paint half that vinyl ****, (five gallons goes a long way on a 2 door colt hatch back, and matching color garage door, and porch, etc....) then hook some comfy *** front seats from a turbo lebaron or a 3.8 liter taurus or scable, if you have ever been in a junkyard, you know you can find them there. A altogether awesome looking low 20's quarter miler... So far we spent, 250 on the car, 15 on the YFA fuel induction system( IE carbuerator), fifty for the wing, fifty on the ram air hood, two bucks for the whizz wheel blade to cut the springs, fifty for the rims with tires, maybe seven more for a plug kit, and twenty out to get you five gallons of paint and the rollers and brushes, gloves, vaseline, etc. , fifty a pair on the sweet buckets, altogether, four hundred ninety four down, Zero a month, that leaves thirty nine thousand, five hundred and six, and that will mostly go to an army of loose women who would wash and wax the car, push start it from time to time, breath heavy on command, bring me liquor, bath me, etc..... Yo, I would like to voice my angst also, if this was a contest, I would have so won it by now, and I would finally have the money to score that colt. COLTS ROCK!!!!!!!!
