On a whim, I bought some shark steak from the farmers market this week. First time trying this dish, but turned out pretty good!

I cook nearly everyday. I seldom eat out. I think thats why I'm approaching 240lbs now. I'm tall so I hide it pretty well. But I need to exercise more...
^^That sounds hella good!

You have a farmers market that sells shark? Where do you live now and how can I get there?

Anyway, the last thing I ate was a microwavable char siu chinese pork bun (the steamed kind).

next time you see that in a Japanese restaurant don't forget to try it out. It's pork cutlet that is breaded then deep fried.

(having left overs as I type)

I live in an area with lots of Hispanics and Asians. There are two big farmers markets within 15 minutes of me. One has tons of veggies and seafood, from crayfish to whole fish, and a huge section of Asian food. The other has a better selection of beef and poultry and better prices on produce.

If I find somehting interesting, I buy it and search for a recipe. You'd love these markets cause I know you like to cook. I'm still learning and not quite ready to prepare holiday meals.

And scorched, you hope you enjoyed that meal. Send me the recipe when you get a chance.

I had roast turkey and mashed potatoes for dinner.

Now I'm eating sunflower kernels (spitting seeds at a desk is not ideal).

This afternoon someone made a big pot of pumpkin curry soup and brought it in for everyone. So I had the last bowl of that and my friend let me have some of her curry chicken salad. I sauteed some purple kale and onions to go with it.

I love my job, free food from co-workers is great. Plus we have a semi-new stove/toaster/and toaster-oven.
