Seeing as how I just got a new job, I went out in DC for lunch with my wife to celebrate.

Went to Old Ebbitt Grill. I got a crab/artichoke dip and a dozel WellFleet oysters on the half shell and two Tanqueray martinis. Awesome.

I prefer filleted tilapia, easier to eat and no bones to remove. Bake it with shake and bake and you're ready to go!

^^That looks killer!

Whole fish is the way to go, much more flavorful when cooked on the bone, and then you get to eat the head/jaw, which is by far the best part of any fish.

Easter Dinner at "La Ferme" in Chevy Chase MD:

Appetizer:

Seafood stew en croute (monkfish, bay scallop, shrimp, mussels) in a wine cream sauce with vegetables in flake pastry

Entree:

Panko-crusted roasted rockfish atop ratatouille with basil oil (This was INCREDIBLE).

Dessert:

Chocolate mousse cake with raspberry coulis and raw cocoa nibs.

La Ferme always delivers, and today was no exception. The Rockfish was beyond description, so simple, the perfect spring dish.
