Not only that, but there might be some other problems with the car that isn't apparent till the engine gets warm.
Check the coolant lines under the intakemanifold. I bet one of the hoses ripped on you. Try the one near the starter, it's a ***** to get too so you will have to take the starter out to get to it.

The leak is coming from the driver's side. Also, the car won't start anymore. After 3 times, it doesn't want to fire... Same thing happened last time. Any clues as to why it does this?

maybe it's the safty switch? you could try and bypass it so you don't have to push the clutch pedal in to start the car. I know my friends wouldn't start sometimes and that was the problem.

I'm slapping the car back to stock and selling the parts. I'm going to keep the motor and put it back to stock using the parts from this car... Going to pick it up on Friday (if the guy doesn't sell it before then...).

Didnt you say you were 16 or something? How do you afford a prelude or an s2k or an rb20 240 for that matter lol.

With what I've beaten already with simple dyno tuning on my stock rb20 there is no way I'd ever go to an underpowered front wheel drive, or an over priced underpowered 2 seater.

I dont get how you did not become addicted to boost and power like I did... no offence, just my opinion of course.

I just turned 19 and have been saving for ages... When kids ran around with new toys, I saved and played with nothing . I got some money through my "business" (which does not involve illegal activites or drugs). My parents also promised me an S2000, but they decided to give me $15k cash instead, so now I have around $25k to use for whatever I want ($15k from parents, $3k from my sentra, sold $3.5k worth of my possessions, and have some money saved (college raped me)).

I didn't want to list how much I have and such, but it's alot better than having someone assume that I sell drugs or some bs like that. Btw, I got the RB20'd 240sx with the mods posted on the top of this page for 800$ .

I dunno, I'm pretty conservative so I think I'm going to save the 25g's and put it into mutual funds or something. Anything over the 25g's and I'll be paying for school, and the leftovers will go to the car . I'm still going to try to run my scheme and get some more money for the car.

Btw, how do you take the injectors out?? I know this is a newb question, but I searched to no availability. I know it's best to take out the fuel rail, but I don't know where that is on the RB20...

theres 2 bolts on the intake that hold the rail down the front 4 injectors you take out the front than the back 2 you have to take out the rear than slide the rail through

I dont mean to be an as$, but this thread is worthless =P

What does this SR have to do with anything... My question I guess added to the random pointlessness of this thread as well.

There hasn't been a point for some time... I just decided to keep on posting stuff here instead of making new threads for each small thing...

Btw, since you chimed in, how has your 240 been? I remember reading about you restoring it and dropping an RB20. Have you done more tuning to it?

Yeah did you check out my dyno graph on this forum? Red lines are my base HP and TQ before tuning, blue is after.. I actually got some pretty decent gains from a light tune with an SAFC 1.

I'm too lazy to look back through this 4 page thread... but didnt you say you were going to head to PIR or woodburn to run sometime soon? I was planning on going to woodburn next weekend, but theres some big event going on.. Might head up to PIR for some friday night drags. You going to take your RB down there?

Yah, I saw the graph, and it's very good. Hopefully mine will make something similar. I'm heading to PIR (I went to the last event, "test and tunez") for the "battle of the imports", but I'm not sure if my car will be ready for it. Hopefully it will be . It's on June 7th.

Btw, if I have too much pressure in my fuel tank, will it prevent the car from starting? I ask this because now I have to release the pressure built inside by removing the cap, and when it starts, it runs like $hit. I know that the problem with my car is related to the fuel, because once I remove the cap, the car at least starts, where as if I don't, it just turns over with no fuel delivery. I checked my spark plugs and the coil packs and all is well. The MAF is new, and so is the power transistor. Not electrical either because the car still starts up.

I'm hella confused. Please help!

I'll make sure that I do that this weekend. I'm first going to remove the spark plugs to remove any pressure and see what happens. The same thing is happening when the car stalled on the streets. Could the pressure be why the car won't start after 3 consecutive startups (I'm guessing that it's building pressure after each start)?
