Haha, right now I went out to get something to eat during halftime of the Raiders game at Burger King.

The girl that took my money fell in love with my car.

Her: "Woah, I love you car."

Me: "Haha, thanks."

Her: "How much did you pay for it? 47?"

Me: (Thinking in my head... huh?) "What do you mean 47?"

Her: "You know, 47,000."

Haha, while we were talking the girl did describe herself as "kinda retarded" so maybe that's a hint.

I know that my coupe is hella sexy but being able to pass as a 47,000 car.

Besides right now, a couple weeks ago while I was putting gas one night some kid selling candy bars asked me what it was.

Kid: "Woah dude. Nice car, is this the Skyline that they're making now?"

Me: "Haha, nah man. It's an Altima."

Kid: "This ain't an Altima, it's too nice to be an Altima."

haha i was sitting in a parking lot talking on the phone. Well i see this family pull up behind me in the rear view mirror. i had just finished tinting my windows like 2 days ago. well i see the familys husband stop and just stare at me and i read his lips as he says "oh honey look! its the new G!". he starts going all splinter cell and slowly creeping up on me. well since im 6'2" i have the seat as far back as possible so he didnt see me in the car. as he starts to look in i wave to him and he gets startled and i lower the window and talk to him. then he finds out it an altima. he still loved the way it looked and said he wants one but his wife says he has enough toys i thought it was pretty funny experience

I get a lot of people saying it looks like a G but other than that, nothing else. My dad did comment though that the back does look like a volvo. BlackNWhite, don't you have the roof overlay on it? That may be adding the extra "value" to the car cuz it does look different (awesome) in those pics I saw.

Well the altima/maxima have very similar traits on body style, so to the untrained eye they would think a altima looks like a maxima and the other way around.

Back in October I went camping with my fraternity for a retreat, since I'm an alumni now a lot of the new guys didn't know who I was or what I used to drive. When I first drove in some of the new guys were walking down the road at the entrance, I had my windows rolled down and I over heard one of them say "Who's driving in with a g35?" It made me feel so good.

Another story, one of the old security guards in the parking lot where I work came over one time and asked me all these questions about my a/c stating that his wife wanted one, so I gave him a tour of it and after that went inside to get to work. Later in the night I forgot something in my car that I needed so I went back out to my car and the old security was still standing where I left him staring at my car except this time he had another security guard with him looking at it. The other guard wanted a tour also, so I let him see. Wouldn't you know it when my shift was over I went out to my car and there are 3 security guards looking at my car.

Never got mistaken for another car; except ofcourse references to G35 and Z350 which im sure we all get, but...

- A guy in an RX8 pulled up next to me and told me it was a really nice car and gave me respect.

- A dude with his family in a van pulled up next to me and asked what it was....and asked how much....then he was like WOW....looks a lot more than that....and gave me respect

- Couple teenagers pulled up next to me and gave me respect

- I work part time security at the new hospital built next to my house and all the guys at work love my car...esp another guy who owns an Altima sedan.

- A fellow coupe owner and I stopped at the lights together in TO, he had a blue one and we gave eachother the

- I always get white '07 altima sedans that follow me or drive next to me...its happened atleast 3 times now....

HaHa,..I get asked what my car is all the time. Since it was de-badged they have no clue. The only Nissan emblem is on the grill and once I figure out a way to replace it, that emblem is out of there too!

I must of ran into the sister of the $47K Burger King girl a couple of weeks ago. I pulled into Taco Bell and the gurl was like..

girl: Nice Car!!! Very Sexy!!!

me: haha..Thanks

girl: what is it?

me: It's a Nissan Altima

Another time my neighbor was walking her dog and she came up to me and asked if this is the new Infinity G37...I said Nope,..I didn't pay over $45K for it. When I told her it was a Nissan Altima, she couldn't believe it.

I also get the occasional "Nice car" from strangers and my wife always gets looks when she drives it. I keep telling her it's that hot blonde in a red sportscar thing..

I think G6 coupes are similar looking, but not quite as curvy and sexy.

I had two teenagers in a pretty new bug tailing me on a busy street last week. They finally caught up, pulled next to me (i'm thinking, great these kids are gonna want to race). I looked over and they were both just spying the coupe---both gave me nods and then backed off. That was cool.

One of the best things about this car is that it looks so much more expensive than it is!

Oh--I finally saw the other coupe here in town. I wanted to turn around and go talk to her, but we were in my gf's car and I got "the look"

I've only had it for about 3 weeks now. Haven't got too many comments, but it was funny because a lot of my guy friends were asking me "Whoa when did you get that G35?" and then one smart girl asked "Is that altima coupe outside yours?" And then one friend heard I got a new car and asked what I got, I told him it was an altima (he doesnt know much about cars, he was thinking about the <05 models.) and when he saw me walk out to my car he was like "WTF THATS AN ALTIMA?"

other than that, I get alotta and thats about it.

and time to time there are haters. One guy, (a friends older brother), asked me to drive it. When I said no, he was like "wutever man, wtf am I gunna do with an altima anyway"

I personaly get the "Is that an Infinity?" question all the time and then they are taken back by what it is and that its that nice for what it is also. I was filling it up one day and this dude in an older but not too old of a Mercedes and he's like damn is that the new 350 Z and I said nah man its an Altima Coupe, but its really cool that the car gets as much attention as it does and I dont mind answering questions. JUST DONT TOUCH IT!!!!

Yeah Mike,..I think there is an unspoken rule of not f***ing with people that serve you food. That's why I waited till I had the food in my car before I said the comment.

In retrospect though, that was kinds mean and undeserving but my buddy on the other hand said to me that I was just putting things in perspective for him. In all reality, if you're working in a taco bell, chances are that you're not going to be driving a $30K+ car. Man, that must suck!!
