for you Versa... i was sitting here last night wondering what would be another good topic to put on here... like (sedan or hatch) poll i put up... and as i was looking threw my pics of my past cars/suvs/trucks that ive owned... i started to wonder what did you trade in for you versa... and do you regret it now ???

with me i do regret getting rid of my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Mark 3 with a 6inch skyjacker lift kit and 35 inch mudd tires...

its just when i lived in Texas i was driving a whole lot and didnt have the money to pay for the gas... i was getting 4 mpg in it... it had a 360 rebuilt with some goodies... but now that i live in TN and i never leave town for anything i would take it back in a heart beat...

I sold outright my 1997 Chevy Camaro base car with police pkg. much happier with my V than the $1000 a month repairs the Camaro required. The Camaro had 200000 miles on it.

Nothing.

Mercury Villager [Nissan Quest that Ford got hold of] with 300k on it.

Wanted it to last until the spring but the PS and water pumps went -- not worth fixing it.

A 1st gen Mazda 6 v6... that ate too much gas for breakfast... and ignition coils every 4 months... great drive ruined by Michigan build quality ~_~ /sigh.

1989 Toyota Corolla (380k). Wanted it to last until I was finished school, but it was totaled in December.

Traded a 93 Mazda pickup (B2600i). Didn't want to, but it kept having major electrical problems with the computer. Too many expensive repairs that never lasted long.

$800 a month payments, roughly 16mpg on no lower than 89 oct, and I drive about 2 hours a day. That ends up being an expensive month.

I bought the Versa Jan 07, and amazingly, its the first SINGLE car ive had over 1 year, since 99. Or, let me put it this way, This is the first car I had to renew the plates on in 9 YEARS lol

1996 Ford Probe with 240,000 miles.

"...before you traded"? They wouldn't even make me on offer on it with those miles, even though it still ran fine and looked pretty good. I sold it to a neighbor for $500!

Regrets? Not a one! I'm hoping this one makes it 240,000 miles as well!

1996 Nissan Altima GXE, 124k miles, maroon, with Maaco paint job, persistent electrical problems, check engine light on, alignment ALWAYS out (ate tires like nothing else), that didn't run.Well, we didn't have the "not running" part up until the day we bought the V.

That car was a piece of crap, but we paid cash for it to be a "drive it into the ground" car and it did what it was supposed to.

It would've turned me off Nissan if I hadn't had 3 prior Nissans that were fantastic cars. All with higher miles too.

I had a 1997 Suzuki Esteem GLX before the Versa. I miss it like nothing else but it was really more of a headache than anything. I like being able to fill my gas tank and not have to park only on a downward angle to avoid having the gas leak out...

Traded a 99 C280 Mercedes Benz with 120k miles on it - a great car with a lot of electronic issues - glad I got rid of it! Versa was my first choice after buying another Nissan 1 year ago (2007 Pathfinder)

2000 S-10, 2.2ltr, got it new, had 72000 on it, 3"drop, shaved tailgate, roll pan, tint, GMC 5spoke rims, euro headlights, corner lights and tails, alum. driveshaft, CAI, Cat-back, bed liner and cover, stupidly i traded it in mainly because it actually only got me 20MPG, tires no matter what always went flat(even after 3 differnt sets) wanted something other then 2 doors(at the time i had 5 cars and all were 2 doors, now i have two 4 doors) the dealer only gave me $3000 for the truck, o well, im very happy with the V

We gave our 1994 Honda Civic to our son as a present and bought the Versa without a trade-in. It's our everyday car so we don't beat up our 2002 Buick Rendezvous.

Sounds like me in my "younger days": one year I went through 5 cars. In the past the time line has increased: the last one, 8 years/300k

i love how they made the interior of that car, but the exterior from the front looks really ugly, but then again the inside looks real good, too bad the Vs interioris so plain because the exterior of the V looks real good

I had a 97 VW Jetta (5spd). Had too many engine problems I didn't have the money to fix, and I was going to lose the registration because it couldn't pass the emissions testing for the state. So, I got rid of it. I miss the manual transmission, but my commute was just too painful on my calves to make it worth doing again.
