I used to drive a 2001 Hyundai Accent GS. Great little gas saver, and very small. However, after 7 years the car had no guts left. Very powerless little car. Cute though. Here is a pic. All I added to it were fog lights. I hated how Hyundai left two big holes where the fog lights should have gone.

My old ride a modded '98 Civic 2 dr silver... It had headers, AEM short ram intake, APEX Catback exhaust, high flow cat, hyper blinkers, 35% tint, altezza tails, Enkei Etoria rims, NGK sparkplugs and wires, etc. I got rid of it cause I wanted a new car and that got broken into too many times.

I drove a '91 ford escort LX. It's sitting in my driveway as we speak lol.

Mine was a 4 door though. Family owned since it was purchased. Clutch started going out a couple of months ago and they said it would be like 1200 dollars or some crap and that wasn't even a month after I had the water pump timing belt and alternator replaced. Drove my dad's '07 VW rabbit for a couple months before I got my V (which I love).

I miss my honda but it was getting too much of a hassle with theft and much attention from the cops. I was pulled over for taking out my silencer from the catback, $60 dollar ticket, no points. Yet, noisy motorcycles don't get tickets? I was pissed so I figure I had to get rid of it.

98 ford taurus light blueIt was a fun first car, fit all of my friends. Drove it until it died literally. Transmission and axle went in one stop light at 150K miles. Traded it in for $850 off my V. Been the happiest driver since.

I had this 1991 Miata, had it since 92. Over 200K, still going strongI also had this 1991 Mitsubishi Montero 150K, everything started breaking at once so it had to goMy wife had this 2000 Hyundai Elantra I totalled it with just over 100K, but she had zero problems with it before I killed it. I like having a new car, but I really got used to not having a car payment for so long before buying my V.

98 Dodge Neon, with just under 300,000km on it when I stripped the threads on a spark plug and figured it was time to move on. Didn't trade it (dealer didn't even want to look at it), so I sold it to a couple high school kids who wanted a car for a road trip for $450.

I had and still have a 2002 Xterra. I wouldn't trade it for anything and still use it predominately when I'm not driving with my wife or daughter. I think my Versa is great, don't get me wrong, but I will still have my Xterra long after the Versa is gone.

2007 Camry LE

Got tired of the constant downshifting and upshifting on intown overpasses.

Probably will never own anything without a CVT.

I must say I've enjoyed the moderate gains in fuel economy. Also, I had to watch my mileage towards the end of the lease or I would have had to buy it.

I drove a 1994 Toyota Pickup, which was a great truck but not really a highway vehicle. The Versa Base is a luxury car in comparison to the Toyota.

I drove a 92 Honda Accord LX, it was great on gas mileage for its age however it had over 250,000 miles on it and the clutch had recently burned out. It was sitting out on my street waiting to go to the shop again until some idiot came speeding down the roads in the wintertime and obliterated the rear axle. It was a good thing I had purchased my V just 2 weeks prior and kept it in the garage for winter. It was really fun to drive because it was a manual and was pretty quick, but after driving the Versa there's really no comparison. Turns out the idiot was driving his girlfriends car, which had no insurance.

here you can see how he slammed it clear over the curb, so it was almost perpendicular with the sidewalk. It took hours to get it back out onto the street, its hard to move when the wheels won't roll anymore.

here's a view of the smashed rear where he hit

here you can kind of see the wheel bending out from the smashed axle

If this ever happens to my V, I think I'll die....

Pi-Rat. I'm glad this didn't happen to your V. I protect my Baby too, she sleeps in the garage!

I had a 2001 Ford Taurus SES, it had 56k on it when I bought it in 2006 traded it last November had 98K. It was a great car minus the 60 dollar plus tank fills at 4 bucks a gallon, especially when I only managed 16 MPG 99% of the time. I still have a 1991 Chevy Astro Van with 216K on it was my moms car till I turned 18 and she got a new one. The only thing I miss about the Taurus is a center armrest, it gets really annoying when I have to drive 200+ miles with nothing to lean on.

I didn't trade. I just decided to keep the Neon seeing as how the body being beat up and having over 200,000 miles wouldn't even pay for one car note. It's worth more to keep and part out one day than trade it in...

This beautiful car..

Turned into this after an encounter with Bambi. She survived though.

Thanks to God, I walked away uninjured. And with the insurance check, I was able to buy the V and am enjoying the gas mileage.

The tree I hit was on an embankment, and so when I hit it, the nose angled up and the momentum flipped the car over.

I had a 2000 Toyota Corolla VE(Bought in 1999), it had 170k what no major problem *This was a real reliable car* when I trade it April ... what a mistake. Now I have 8k on my Versa SL , I've visited my Nissan dealer 7 times in 10 months (non maintenance and wear reason) VS 4 times with my Corolla in almost 10 years....

Your car must've been built on a Monday. My versa has over 10k now and hasn't been in the shop once. (for non maintenance items)

I didn't trade, but I drove this:

1998 Chevy Metro with a 1999 Motor in it.

This was my v =[

Sadly enough, after paying like $2k into it, it was stolen from underneath me. -.-

And now I drive this:

I still hope to get another V one day. But My credit was still limited, so i couldnt get a V in my name yet, so I got the Cav at a "bad credit" dealer. To build it up for my V. =]

1994 Honda Civic Sedan. Decent car, but had the brakes fail on me which led to carnage that sped up the process of the body falling off it as it was. Decided it was time for a new ride.

Didn't do any trades. Used to own a V6 Crapstang which was sold to purchase my other car, bought and modified before my Versa. Still own it for when the speed bug bites on nice days.
