Had a 1997 Dodge Stratus, kept that for 3 months because it was falling apart... then I got a 1997 200sx SE. Red, sunroof, power everything, spoiler... It was a nice second car for a teenager.

Kept that for 5 years, and then bought my V on dec 29th 2006.

Best decision, ever.

A 1991 Honda Accord. It ran well, but in the hot summer days, it wouldnt start. Id have to jump it to start it. So I decided it was time for a new car.

Hi All,

I did not trade, I have a G35 coupe and was running up way to many miles with my commute, the fuel economy issue as well even though the "G" does OK in fuel economy (as long as I don't jump on it!) Which is difficult when you're going through a mid life crisis!!!! Ha Ha...

I traded in my 2004 Xterra. The only reason I got rid of it was due to gas mileage. Otherwise, and no offense to the Versa community, I would defect back to the Xterra forum in a heartbeat. heh heh. But my V has been good to me so far. It's only the second car I've owned...all my others have been trucks or SUVs.

I had a 1993 240SX...was a sleeper, best run at track was 13.9 w/out turbo. I do regret trading it but then again it was probably the best thing I could do because of the constant repairs and mantainence on it. If I could I would trade my V for it back because I have a better paying job now. But this was the best pic I could find of it, it was before I had my rims :\ and when I was done having some fun.

Traded in my 92 Mazda. It was a very difficult decision. I've had it for years and it's been through everything with me. Would have loved to keep it, but justifying thousands of dollars in repairs on a 17 year old car was difficult...

Didn't actually trade or sell anything to get the V, but I guess the most recent car that I sold before the V was:

'02 Pathfinder SE 4x4

1999 Saturn SL1 w/sunroof, 133,000 + miles on it and still running strong. A wonderful person ran a red light and smacked into me.... totalled. I miss the ding proof doors! Got my first minor ding on V by white vehicle on passenger door this week at ... mall, most likely a truck......jealous bastard! Wifes' fault, she was driving it.

I had a 2007 Honda Fit Sport. The car was a nightmare!! It was in the shop 6 times in the 9 months that I owned it. I was also out $800 in work that was not covered by warranty and the car burned 1/2 quart of oil every 2 weeks!! I am fairly sure the Honda warranty does not cover anything.

Mine was an 2001 Nissan Altima. It was a great car until Bambi decided to end his life on the hood. Needless to say it was not a trade-in but the insurance check did help.

I had a '91 nissan Stanza. Because I attend college 2 1/2 hours away from my home in Puerto Rico, I had an accident with the car. One of the front tires (the one that is in the passenger side) blow out and the pieces of the tire smashed all the wire of the Car's fuses box and wrapped into the brake's disk.... pretty bad huh?... well next day... I had my black Versa S

I owned the same Miata since 1992 before this. I had a budget crisis last fall , and sold it. Since then I've had a 94 Dodge Shadow, a 91 Mitsubishi Montero, a 2000 Hyundai Elantra, and a 93 Plymouth Duster. I just got sick of buying beaters that die right away (or get hit by uninsured drivers like the Hyundai, grr) that I wanted something new. This will be my first actual new car, too.

I had a 1997 Town and Country LX 159,000 miles on it. I got $800. It had leaks in the oil pan, head gasket. The fuel pump that was just about shot. I did have to put a new starter in it, to get it to the Nissan dealership.

2001 PT Cruiser w/170K miles. I really miss the steering wheel! It was great from an ergonomic perspective. Just perfect.

The steering wheel on my Nissan is driving me crazy -- it's fat in all the wrong places and has those darn bluetooth/cruise control panels right where my hands want to be.
