was your car over heating?Reds12t wrote:I started my electric fan install. I was going to use the stock shroud, but I decided to make an aluminum one instead. I still have a few hours of work left, but I love all the space I have in front of the motor, and that I don't have to deal with that dumb hydraulic fan anymore.

No, I wanted to make some space. The hydraulic fan has a lot components and weight, removing it really cleaned up the engine bay. Although, I might change my fan, it is pretty loud.jesustorres85 wrote:was your car over heating?
Doin the same thing but have to splice, there not true plug in play. I also have to opwn my fog lights because there is water inside, what a mission.IlyaKol wrote:Not today, but tomorrow I should be installing:
55w HID kits in the low beam (6000k), high beam (4300k) and fog lights (3000k). Will have before and after pictures.
Should be done today.infinitedrift wrote:Doin the same thing but have to splice, there not true plug in play. I also have to opwn my fog lights because there is water inside, what a mission.IlyaKol wrote:Not today, but tomorrow I should be installing:

Well the fogs were a little funky. The HID kit had prongs for the harness plug, so we just shoved them into the OEM harness.infinitedrift wrote:I dont know why they would not be, my last kit on my 240SX were plug in play, but i guess on the 03 M there not, for the fogs at least. I just had to cut the connector that the regualr fogs pluged into, crimped aftermarket connectors and wala!!. Wasnt too bad.
.....bought a 3pc spoiler today, long story....hope it fits.

It's just flexible paver edging (Diamond-lok) from home depot :eek It bent to shape easily, and I used a blow torch on the tight bends. The hardest part was joining th 2 pieces, the Home Depot near my house only sells the material in 6' sections. I joined them using screws and an extra piece of plastic. I threw some stickers over th joint so you cant see it. It cost less then $20 and took less then 2 hours to make. And if I scrape the hell out of it on a drive way or curb, I don't have to worry because it's super easy to replace.infinitedrift wrote:Nice Red, what did you use to mold it.
