Removed the rotors and turned them. Replaced OEM pads w/Hawk HPS pads. Extremely easy on this car to replace the pads. Then came the hard part, scrubbing the inside of each wheel removing road tar, etc etc.

Bought a set of 4 Continental ExtremeContact DWS's from Tirerack. Will be installing them as soon as they come in. Finally get rid of these sad Walmart tires that are noisy as hell.

Got off work my 12 hour shift at one am and drove up to the firehouse for some one on one time with my baby. Vacuum, wash and wax. Even got a good coat of wax on those rims. I must say, the way the sheetmetal lays on this chasis is sexy as all hell. 3 hours of quality time, priceless.

Changed the oil, and Sea Foamed the car.

Also created this HowTo and video:

Mods, can this thread please be stickied at the top? Many of the other forums I'm on have this type of thread stickied because it is the easiest way to find out who's done what to their car recently, etc.

Washed it, then laid on a layer of Klasse All in one followed by a top coat of the Klasse High Gloss sealant. the perfect winterizing

Now if you live in Northeast Ohio i'd advise not looking directly into my mirror like reflective shine, it may cause envy

Got bored and picked up JDM visors at the local dealership. Here is a quick snap shot of what they look. I actually really really like this thing

some of the visor kits come with a 3rd piece (for each side) to go in the last quarter panel pane, but still looks pretty good and now you won't have rain coming in the window when your going down the road and want a little fresh air.
Do they just stick in with friction or do you have to use 3M tape?

This is the OEM nissan one. It clips into the channels with a metal clip and it is also stuck to the molding using a double sided tape (3M?)

finally a nice sunny warm day (26 degrees lol) to work on the M. I was able to install the Infinity tweeters and they do sound much better. You get to hear more highs that the bose tweeter doesn't produce.

A must have for those that don't want to go crazy and replace the whole stereo.

Next will be to upgrade the stock subwoofer (2nd weekest part).

ended up getting tein s techs. i know its subjective on an x, but i figure if it sucks, ill just buy the ksport coils.

the wheels i got for a steal. custom xxr 521's in 8.5 +32 all around with custom polished 2 step lip and muteki neo chrome lugs

gong gloss black roof and maybe custom csl type spoiler when i paint my lip.

the exhaust if a custom greddy evo2 setup

carrying over alot of my z's engine bling since ive since went with a built boosted ls1 in my z, so the m should be sitting pretty come srpingtime!

took the car out today, I haven't driven her since the mid of Dec 2010.

Got her tinted with LLumar 20% on the sides and 15% on the rear windshield.

On the way home i was able to open her up a little (over 140 mph).

With the help of a friend, changed my very first set of brake pads and rotors to aftermarket ceramic pads and drilled and slotted ones from Brakemotive
a little skeptical at first since pretty cheap (but sponsor on many car enthusiast sites + Nissan and outstanding reviews from eBay buyers) so...
Bedded them in a few nights ago--so far so good...we'll see in a few hundred/thousand miles. So far, ride stops great, no whirring/whooshing/squealing
Also took the opportunity with the wheels off to clean the other side of the rims--waaaayyyy dirty

A little elbow grease and time (got faster as I got used to how it all fit together) saved me some serious bucks--will be taking my friend and his wife out to dinner for helping me-won't be taking my car to the stealership to have brakes redone ever again.

Thanks...

Brakemotive kit was $169.95 (all four rotors and pads)

Could've used the same pad retainer clips, but opted to have everything new, so...
Hardware Kit-Front (clips + shims and shim covers which I didn't use) $58.92
Hardware Kit-Rear $57.10
Total: $285.97

Ordering OEM rotors and pads from infinitipartsusa.com (not including the hardware kits) would have totaled: $542.60 (not including S&H)
