Received and installed a Weapon-R coolant overflow tank into my S13 today. My stock overflow tank has been long gone, cracked and leaking when I bought the car.

The install went effortlessly, use the two bolts that hold the stock tank down. A 10mm socket is all that is needed. The brackets aligned perfectly.

I would recommend this overflow tank to anyone needing to replace their broken/cracked stock one. If you search around for the best price you can get it for cheaper than a stock replacement as well!

the day i spend 125$ on a coolant resevior will be the day i have enuff money to bathe in nightly. and then flush it all down the toilet when I'm done.

I'll stick with my autozone specials for 8$

none the less, looks good!

Weapon R, fine makers of bumper stickers and license plate frames. I see they have expanded their inventory.

LOL i agree. Maybe cheaper than a brand new OEM stock replacement. But you can get one that is perfectly fine here on NICO used for $25

I have a CS tank, and I love it. What do you have to back up your claim?

I bought both, compared them carefully, kept the Weapon R and sold CS tank. No bending brackets or struggling with bottom bung with Weapon R tank.

no seriously i dont have one, it was draining int othe winsheild resevor but i am planing on doing something custom. liek rubber banding a balloon over the end of th etub and having that fill up. lol. then whe n istop i can pop the hood lift the balloon above the radiator and sqeeze the coolant back in lol.

You have never made hot water balloons have you, they pop, the rubber doesnt deal well with heat, they burst just from the hot water coming out of my kitchen sink, and that isnt even that hot.

dang so much for that idea. i will probly just figure some kind of container to hide where my wind washer res. was casue it keeps the engine bay a little cleanner i think.

does NASA make hot water balloons? maybe they have soem high temp ones.

You can relocate and hide it like this. It works according to the owner.
