This picture shows stock hose and lower bung of Circuit Sports coolant tank. It's smaller than the hose. I cut the end a little bit, but saw not much difference. Weapon-R tank was a perfect fit. I wonder how you guys made this work. Besides, CS tank won't fit without some serious bracket bending. Fitment was really poor. Did I get the bad one or something?

I got one of these a few weeks ago and I really like it.. The look so much better than stock and it def won't crack! I got one online for $75ish + shipping. At first I didn't want to get one because of how much they were but then I saw that a new oem one was $80.

Yup! I also paid about $90-95 shipped. $125 is MSRP and online stores sell usually sell them lower than that. OP's tank is bit dirty, but it's very shiny and finish is way better than CS if anyone cares about it.

The original hose will not work, get a new one from the auto parts store. A little thicker and it goes kind of tight into the radiator connector but it works.......As long as is designed for coolant or lubricants it should work....

You Sir are correct,,,, it needs to be at radiator neck level to work.

(Scratching his head) and I thought I will never agree with Yokota as long as I live......

I got mine for 75-ish shipped. I bought the Weapon R because of the issues with fitting and the wrong size hose connection I read about the Circuit Sports one. I wanted to post some pictures so others could see how this one fits, and that everything would plumb up correctly without modification. Weapon R may not be the most sought after parts company, but it's a coolant tank, all it has to do is fit, connect correctly, and not leak.

Technically it does not have to be above the filler neck. It will push out coolant/air at 13psi (or whatever your cap is) and then as everything cools it will siphon coolant back into the radiator. That is why the radiator connection is on the bottom of the tank, so it will siphon coolant and not pull air. After installing my RB20 I used the skyline overflow tank for over a year, sitting near the relay box behind the driver side headlight, lower than the radiator neck.

My new 240sx did not have a coolant expansion/overflow tank when I bought it last year. I just purchased an aluminum one which seems to fit OK. Does anyone know how to plumb the lines for proper functioning?

I think this system is an expansion tank rather than an overflow tank, is this correct.

TIA for your help.
