I went to Downtown Nissan at Adelaide & Parliament. When I first went they did give me the heads up that the SLs are harder to find (I got the S).torontoversa wrote:What kind of Versa are you getting? Could you tell what is your dealer is or the last four digits for your VIN number so I can guess when I will be getting mine. Thanks.
Well for us here in Canada Thanksgiving was back in October but I appreciate the sentiment... hope you get your Versa soon!bokchi24 wrote:niceee look like u really gonna have a happy thanksgiving!!!!!! if i'm lucky enough i should have mine b4 x'mas
Yeah that doesn't seem right. Once they have a VIN, they should also have an order # and they should be able to check on the status of the car with that.bokchi24 wrote:i called my dealer today and talked to my salesman. i asked him when will my versa come in and he weren't able to tell me (and i had my vin for more than 2 weeks already), he said there will be a shipment coming in this friday and he said he will c wut happen. how can you not know wut is coming in in two days?

Depends...where is it?Ever Victorious wrote:Yess... another Seattlite.
Would you guys come to the NICO meet in April? I don't want to be the only Versa there.
Not entirely correct. When you "order" one from allocation, you're just putting down a small deposit. You are not opening or signing for a loan until the car comes in and you do the paperwork. You are making no payments for the time the car is coming.gottafly wrote:For those who are waiting long times for their cars, try and negotiate a loaner car with the dealer as fair compensation for waiting an inordinate amount of time for delivery. Otherwise, threaten to back out of the deal and demand your deposit back. After all, you are eating that cost of partially financing your non-existent car. You having one of their cars - even a used one- gives them an additional incentive to complete your sale, as they don't have your money, nor are they able to sell the car you are using. I had a loaner car that I picked up the day after we closed the deal for our Versa and handed it back in when I picked up the new car.
