I love the R8, and I am actually a fan of the blades. Even though our cars can never be as good as the R8, we can try hey!

Looks good, but definitely continue it down to the side skirts and maybe make it a bit thicker to fit with the rear window if possible.

To each their own though.
dam*it, dam*it, dam*it... I agree... if someone did this color scheme originally without the R8 having it, I would be all for it... I actually really like the way it looks, though I would probably actually get it painted rather than do vinyl... but Audi is known for this particular look... and there's too many Audi's riding around san diego.... I could just picture me riding down the street, in my striped A/C... and an R8 pulls up next to me, rolls down his window, and laughs in my face .. i can't body myself like that

you are my friend, but once in a while will laugh at/with you

such as now ... you'd hate an R8 to do that to you, but what about an Audi A4 in regards to your sexy LED strip up front

I feel you on that, but , come on, its an A4... price wise, its a bit more, but performance wise, its a bit slower than the A/C... not that that's a big deal, its just that, all audis now have some version of the LED running lights... nothing particular about the A4 regarding this...

also, during the day, the running lights are pretty inconspicuous, only at night do you really know they are there... but with that giant strip on the side of my car... it just absolutely SCREAMS R8 CLONE .... so I guess, for me, one is a subtle tribute while the other is an in your face I'm taking your idea mod... but in principle, you are right, it can be viewed as the same

but these are also reasons why I refuse to acccept the G35 spoiler on our cars... it one thing for our car to be modeled after the G35, but to take the trademark G35 spoiler is just going a bit overboard IMO... just my .03

but as I stated, I still like the look of the black stripe on a silver A/C... I just don't know if I could bring myself to do it...
