A few months back someone had a white vert with a wangan wing for sale. I'll post the pics when I get home because i'm at school. BTW it had a Silvia front end so no Xenon lip.

In the meantime check this link out. Not exactly what you're looking for but it can give you an idea. http://www.tunerzine.com/articles.asp?id=72

Thanks guys. Wangan is too big on coupe/vert. Looks like an old Porsche whale tail.

Maybe I'll see how a Navan wing looks.

Yeah I only like the Wangan on hatches also. IMO the coupes and verts needs something more subtle.

This is nico member's car I believe. IIRC, this car has Type-X front and side skirts now.

A PIGNOSE front on a vert?!?!?! That is so wrong...

The Wangan makes it look like you could hit the top of the spoiler and make the vert do a backflip.

Agreed. Only Wangan that I like is on yokota's car. I think you gotta have some decent body kit to make it look good.

You mean you are going to modify s14 Navan wing to fit on a vert?

we should have a vert law that if you're going to replace the factory spoiler with another spoiler it must be no larger than the original. keep it small and keep it simple.

i don't like wangan wings. end of story.

I've seen this style of wing for sale twice since November and both times it was classified as an "S13 coupe" wing:

Don't know if it's actually taken off an S14 or not. Seems to look different than any Navan S14 stuff I've seen.

I like the "lip" soilers the VIP style ones that just protrude off the rear edge of the trunk.

Yeah, that's the way to go I think. Without spoiler, coupe and vert look like something's missing in the back. I'm sucker for a spoiler, so I must have one.

Does anyone remeber a guy who wanted to sell his red vert because his mom told him so? I think his car has that s13 'NAVAN' wing. I'm not sure, but they look very similar. Can't find his thread. There's a burn out picture too in that thread. If it's a real Navan wing, there's gotta be this logo on the spoiler. s14 Navan spoiler was a factory option in Japan. A friend of mine used to own this car. He sold it long time back.

You're the man... topless.

I can't tell if they are same, but very similar in style. I rather keep the factory wing...

I'll post pics of my car when the weather is better. Hopefully you'll see what I mean when about the Navan spoiler being the same "style" as the Xenon lip. I think it will look better than the stocker.

Speaking of pics of your car, I don't think I've seen Xenon lipped vert. Yeah, can't wait to see it cuz I also bought it, but haven't put it on yet. What's the color of your car? Better not be black cuz Xenon lip won't stand out.

Red- here's a pic from when I was showing what the Advans will look like when they are installed this spring. Xenon lip was not installed yet.

Oh, and when you do install your Xenon lip, be sure you follow the instructions about sanding your bumper and the inside of the lip and then cleaning them with acetone. Otherwise, the tape will not stick. :/

Greg used to have a Xenon lip on his vert before he changed things up.

Yeah, that does not stand out much on a black car. It is a Xenon lip or a pignose lip though? Here's adrian's Xenon lipped red fastback for comparison:

That's a pignose lip for sure.

I use a small torch that you put a lighter in, and it works great for double sided tape. You can buy it from any auto stores or walmart.

I don't follow what you are doing. Do you heat the tape up?

Yes, you hold the torch about 3-4 inches away from the tape and move left and right. That'll make the tape really sticky. I also use hair dryer to warm up the area on the car. You don't have to sand or anything. Just clean up the surface good and do that.

Thanks 94, I'll try that this spring. The tape on the front of my lip stuck, but most of the sides didn't take.

the tape will come off, eventually... I used epoxy on my kit and even it eventually started peeling, I just redid it a while ago with this special 2 part epoxy designed to glue fiberglass and metal for marine use...its like the kit became part of the car, its super badass. I got mine at the local Ace hardware.

oh, and lips suck. they scrape.

The Xenon lip is barely lower than the stock Chuki bumper. Plus, it's poly... who cares if it hits a speed bump once in a while.

That's the whole point of getting this Xenon lip. It's very durable and indestructable. Way better than scraping the bumper.

Anyway, ishkabibble, if you get this s13 Navan spoiler, are you going to paint it black? It might work great with black Xenon lip.
