I like how your taking your particular situation and extrapolating it to become the norm.

lips don't scrape... my Xenon never has.

guys, seriously, let's not get pissy over this. whether or not your body kit or your lip scrapes depends on these things in general: how your suspension is setup, the road conditions where you live, and whether or not driveways/parking lots are low-rider friendly (ie, don't have huge speedbumps or stupid slopes on entrances).

Anyway, sometimes I see this car cruising around the town, and it always reminds me of Xenon lip. I think you can pull it off Ish. Combination of black lip, black vert top and black s13 Navan spoiler could come out really nice and look sporty. I'd say give it a try.

I'm not getting pissy, I love everybody. Well, except a couple of ex's.

94, thanks... if I can't find a decent S13 coupe Navan (good shape and good price), I might just try and do a decent black rattlecan/wetsand job on the stock spoiler and see how it looks.

Here's the inspiration for the color scheme:

I wasn't getting pissy. I really did mean good for you. it wasn't until after I typed it that i realized someone might interpret it as go **** yourself. by then, I was like, well if someone interprets it that way, then, good for you. so it all comes back in a circle.

Nice. That would be fun to visit, even if you felt like an intruder. I fell in love with Lotuses the first time I saw an Elan.

The Elise/Exige is the current ultimate "value" factory supercar. That will probably change then the GT-R comes out, though.

Are you kidding me??? I almost bought a white Elan before I bought my 240. Actually, I went to LOG just to see Elans.

As a kid, I was really into Corvettes and certain hotrods until some guy in my neighborhood bought a 90s Elan and I thought it was odd yet really cool. Then I realized this tiny little convertible could give our L82 Vette a run for its money. Ever since then, I've been a fan of lighter vehicles. I've given thought to buying an Elise when I move out of DC, but I'm probably going to end up with something along the lines of an LS1 Sileighty or VTEC vintage Mini.

Housing is really expensive, so buying a decent sized house w/ garage would drain finances to the point of not being able to afford a nice car. Plus traffic is insane... the roads are at a standstill for about 7-8 hours a day. Can you imagine sitting in a Lotus in traffic?
