If you can't afford the gas, you shouldn't have bought the car! My moms boyfriend asked me the other day if I thought it was a big deal that he only puts 87 or 89 in his A5 .
idk man, if you get zero detonation with a lower grade fuel, there is no harm. not that id run the risk with a brand new car... but an old car, what the heck. its not like you are getting any extra power out of it or anything.

You'll get zero detonation because knock sensors dial back your timing.

The 240sx also recommends premium but i dont think it really matters on those cars, the Z's on the other hand yeah. Compression is pretty high on the n/a motor and the TT, well it's TT lol.

Ok so I was pulling into base today, and there was a guy sitting in an '86 Z31 Turbo 5spd, and I was gonna pull up and give him a NICO card, and he told me it was his buddy's, and let me look at it.

It had the in-dash compass, fuel economy, g-meter, and digital dash. It even had "B*tching Betty"! Thing was pretty awesome. Drove it around the lot, turbo spools perfectly. After that, he said his buddy might be considering selling it! I'm pretty excited.

that doesnt sound right . last weekend i drove 160 miles on the highway averaging around 75mph and only burned a half tank. plus im a 2+2. i also have a intake and a catback. i dont knwo if that make the mpg better but thats what iu get consistantly

Looking at the needle is pointless. My tank lasts far more on the first half.

The right way to do it is to fill up. Drive for as many miles as possible. Fill up again and then do the math.

x gallons (of the second fill up) were enough to drive y miles.

Any of you peoples have any bright ideas for ridding a Z of a pesky little pest?

I had the hatch open and a spider jumped in and hid somewhere along my taillights and the plastic pieces... Last time I had a freaking cricket in my spare tire well. The damn thing wouldn't stop jamming in the nights lol

As long as its not a cockroach I think you'll be fine... an organic solution would be let loose any cats you have to investigate.

nice picture by the way Ace

True story, when I was 4-5 I had this battery operated toy dog that would bark and flip and after taking it out of the garage one day and playing with it a cockroach crawled out of its mouth... I was petrified
