I know what you mean but the Z chassis is already much better suited for power upgrades as the chassis is stiffer, the suspension in my opinion is damn near perfect from the factory and the brakes are massive for anything street driven and under $80k. Plus this isn't my first rodeo, so i'm going crazy with power first. I tell all my friends that get into a fast car for the first time, I say look I'm building power but I've wrecked enough to not be a dumb a** when it comes to putting the pedal down, I recommend you build the suspension first and go have some sideways fun in the parking lotsimmode1 wrote:
Wow... That is COMPLETELY opposite from what we recommend to noobs in the S-chassis board. We usually advise ppl to upgrade their suspension and braking performance before adding power, primarily as a safety precaution. I've noticed that this board doesn't seem to subscribe to that school of logic...
And phanatik; I say sound over crazy suspension setups because I don't track my car, ever its a weekend hey lets go fun cruiser and will be until I start making 250k+ a year to afford my habits. So a good sound system is key in a fun weekend car. dont get me wrong I will do suspension but when I think of building a suspension I think of building it, not slapping some springs on it and saying I'm done. And doing it right is expensive.
