The nissan 240sx was a cheap car made in Japan for american market. Sports the horrible K24DE engine. Not meant for racing but some ppl tend to "Rice them out" Considered to be a passenger car due to meager power from the weak K24DE engine. Will never be a true sports car.Clark: Dude you know that kid corey with the Nissan you know that piece of s*** 240sx that he only paid 1,600 for tried racing that v6 Mustang and got his a** handed to him.

Kendall: Yeah but the best thing is a Porsche 951 came out of nowhere when they were racing and handed both of them their a**.

Body kits are pretty expensive. Not that hard to install, but you still gotta get them painted. A cheap kit will be about 2 grand after paint. 2 grand that can be well invested into the engine.

It's cool that you like your car. Great. But you really should stop looking at it through rose tinted glasses. No one cares to argue Z vs 240 with you. I know percisely why I like both cars. But it ain't my job to convince anybody about anything or bring them over to my way of thinking.

I'm not discussing this anymore. Grow up, James.

If I were to put on a "body kit" for a night out, it would include a Maserati key chain, being a junior stock broker as a title and 3 escorts acting as wingmen.

Don't do it. Just don't. You will easily spend $2k setting it up, and after that your car still won't look nice. The only body modifications I would consider would be fender flares. Other then that, a Z with good paint, tints, dual exhaust, the right stance and flush wheels will look better then almost any body kit I've ever seen. Spend your money on a nice set of wheels, coilovers and a sweet exhaust. You'll be way happier.

Vanessa I say do what you want, and this being your first "fun" car you have a burning desire to find out what its like to roll with a body kit. My gf's bro just got a 2010 SS camaro, we've done some bolt ons and he has been going on about how he wants lights here and there and I understand how it is, you always wanna do that kinda stuff when you get your first"fun" car but listen to the experience of all these people, don't do it, you will like it at first and then a very short time later you will be kicking yourself for wasting the money. Its like having sex with a hot piece of a** thats dirty, you wanna hit it but the consequences will be dire. however if you are insistant on doing it get urethane, DO NOT GET FIBERGLASS!

hahahhahahah dirty. Nah i just wanted to look into it because ive seen other Z's that dont seem to be stock adn i'm wondering what exactly they did to make the body look so nice but looking at full body kits i'm def not doing it. they look like they will make my Z look like its on steroids....no bueno. and I'm def listening to you guys lol. I think i'm gonna begin with the engine. gonna make sure everything is in tip top shape. then I wanna work on the suspension. then the wheels, then the paint..then interior. good order?

There doesn't have to be an order per say, there are things that require little money ie: I am wrapping the entire interior of my car in suede or fake suede most likely, this is work intensive but not as expensive as buying engine or suspension parts. so you can do more things them one. and really I guess I should clarify, there are kits that look good, i personally want bomex/bomer sides, a greddy front and the TwinZ Peru rear but body is last on my list so i'm not even looking at them.

x2 on the Jspec bumper, but I don't like the rear bumper in that thread you made...

http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=4207

And some nice subtle side skirts, like these:

The key is to keep things clean and simple. You don't want to end up like this chick and her catfish Z:
