^I understand Kobe has since backpedalled and now said the 2012 might win one game in a series against the '92 team, not a series..
< he's right if they played now. Most of the 1992 team are now AARP members.
V Kobe needs to STFU, and pass the frigging ball.

^ seems reasonable. A loss of a years revenue, no bowl games.
< don't really know/care about them losing their 111 wins. I suppose its important to the team/college.

^ I thik its more than 1 year, it has to be, but that is a fair and steep punishment
< I also think that erasing those 111 wins means nothing. Its all in the record books and on film, hes still a winning coach.

^ perhaps. What have you got?
^ Erasing the 111 wins strikes at the heart of the PSU problem,(winning at all costs) and probably hursts PSU fans the deepest of all the sanctions.
< JoePa was considered by many a deity for his being the winningest coach. And many hardcore fans still believe that despite his implication in the scandal. NCAA said buh-bye to that.. loud and clear. Doesn't matter if the wins are on film, they no longer count by the sanctioning organization.
