Name a mod that you would of changed if you could go back. For example, I would of went with coils right of the bat, not Eibach springs there was still too much gap left even when they settled :ohno:

Lets try to make a REAL discussion out of this. Move on and let it go. If you want to have a legitimate conversation I will monitor this thread to make sure it goes that way.

I don't regret any mod, I just regret the order I got them in.

I went; Wheels > engine > suspension. If I had to do it again I'd go Suspension > Wheels > engine.

Thanks man! I bought them dissassembled, the centers were already blasted and the wheels were stripped so I pretty much can just finish them. I want to try and put a 2" outer lip, they are also 3 piece wheels! Very few of them have survived, I think I might have scored a very rare set of old-school JDM wheels :naughty: , they were made for only a few years!

This, but HID conversion period. So many headaches, so not worth it. eBay projectors go on this list too, should have listened to Big D when he warned me.

Installing HIDs were simple, I'm assuming thats what you meant by "conversion". Its just the quality of these kits were crap, but for $30 i cant argue. i'll just get the DDM kit and get rid of these. The only thing that bothers me about the kit is when my auto lights turn on whilst turning the car on, it misfires. Unless the DDM slim kit does that too then forget it,

Installation wasnt the headache. Multiple blown ballasts, misfires, crap upon crap upon crap is the headache.

I don't regret any mod because I went slow and carefully thought out what I really needed. I didn't want to spend that much on an item(AC) that depreciates. In the end I'm satisfied with the way it turned out. If I could have my first car back I would, but that was back in 1973 and I don't live in the past. Oh, my 1st car was a '69 Mustang GT........

Can I regret for you? I regret the lack of paint on that lip.

Personally I learned the hard way that body mods suck.

I had a Stillen front that I sold, after like 5 trim repaints and fixing the sag. Also sold the awful Stillen side skirts.

Never again.

The lip is painted gloss black with blue metal flake highlights with 3 coats of clear. I like the lip black as it ties in to the tires. When the paint chips away I plan on wrapping it in carbon fiber. The paint on the lip has held up real well, no sags either, so, no regrets.

Fair enough. IMO it would look cleaner paint matched than CF.

The sag and paint chip issues I mentioned are pretty much specific to the fascia. The gaping mouth was prone to getting chipped, and the whole fascia sagged where the grille meets the hood.

Waaaay too much hassle for what it's worth. I'm lower now than in the pic below, and I hardly ever scrape the bumper.

Image

Props to those who are on coils and have the fascia! Straight snow plow! :bigthumb:

I am opposite. I went through two CVT Altimas before getting my 2010 6MT... then I finally bought my Z (6MT). Should have kept my 2004 Spec V, paid it off, never bought any of my Altimas, saved money, and bought my 370.

6MT FTMFW. Even in traffic, I don't even care. The times outside of traffic far outweigh the times in traffic with respect to the fun factor =D
