Glad to see another Texan in here! Nice work btw... Too bad you had your car hit right after you were done working on it. Talk about crap luck. Btw, I'd recommend the Stillen lip on the front, for your year model it looks badass!

Nice! I'm digging your coupe! i got 19's without taking weight into consideration. Realized how heavy they are recently when i took off the wheel to install the pulley. $$$ into these coupes

Yeah, I looked at 19 but realized I wanted more rubber so my tires would last longer.

But yeah, I think all you need now is a few body pieces to make it look great. Maybe matte black the roof too?

Yeah def been looking into adding vinyl to the roof. briefly had added 3m di-noc CF strips to my mirrors but took it off due to a peeling corner. Stillen lip has been on my list along with the c-mod grille combo, but supposedly a company is coming out with a CF lip?(ait i believe) coupes also debadged led/hid light swapped and red gtr push start.

I personally love the grille of the 2010+ ... I'd keep it just as you have it. :) ... I saw some of the AIT stuff in that other thread but it's really hard to gauge it just sitting there unpainted and not on our cars.

Lol sorry I never got around to that. I went out one day to record it and it was super windy. Sounded horrible. Never tried again after that. So for clarity, before the resonators, did yours sound like mine? Or does it sound like mine after the resonators? I've never heard what the exhaust sounds like in my car other than me revving it. I really like the way it sounds when I rev it and from inside the cabin. None of that "buaaaa" business. But idk what it sounds like to others. I just wish it was deeper.

it never really sounded like yours, from the video. Before the resonator i had my friend drive my car because, like you i was liking the in-cabin sound disregarding the fact that i was having HORRIBLE drone, so i wanted to hear what it sounded like outside to others. Unfortunately after about 2.5k it was BUUUAAAA :wtf2: lol couldnt believe it was coming from my car. Under hard acceleration sounded horrible. but in cabin sounded nice! So i had a shop weld in a 16inch resonator (later upgraded to 24")and it sounded so much better, none of that high pitched tone. Taking into consideration i have intake and headers aswell which could of drastically affected the tone. Drive down a neighborhood at night with your windows down and itll give you a clue of what you sound like on the outside or have someone drive your car. With the new mufflers and bigger resonator my exhaust tone is deep. after 4k its quiet and the intake/headers take over. which i like. You could add a small, maybe 12 inch resonator to make it deeper. Eliminate high frequencies.

You should post up a clip of the exhaust with your current set up.

I'd remove the license plate with bumper plugs, HIDs, tints, and yea thats all.

Few questions:Were the speakers a direct plug n play replacement?

Finally, did you notice any difference in performance with the mods you currently have on?

Love that color myself.

1 question that is bugging me, why spend all this money on the car when you could have gotten a 3.5 that would match the looks with its performance. Your initial post doesn't make any sense in this regard. ;) Otherwise, nice mods man. :naughty:

I would w/ a resonator added, although my top speed exhaust came with crooked tips. I know of another local coupe owner with the same problem. Not sure if it's a coincidence, but if you can deal with the small possible con then yes id def recommend it if you're on a budget.

I'll post up a video of the car with the exhaust clip soon.
Here where i live cops are very particular about having both front and rear plates on. Other than that i do have HID's installed 6000k, am tinted 35% fronts 20% back. :yesnod
And, no the speakers were not plug and play you have to look up the speaker color codes and the front components were a pain, removed the dash to stash the crossovers also had to cut the stock speaker connectors and attach terminals. The rear speakers were a breeze all you have to do is remove the carpeting from underneath the speakers, cut the stock speaker plugs, attach new terminals and install the speakers.
Yes i feel a noticeable difference with the mods i have. Got a friend with a stock 2.5 coupe and mine leaves it behind at least 3 car lengths. at legal speeds of course ;)

lol i get this A LOT. Yeah a 3.5 would match the looks and over perform but i initially had no real intentions of modding or going fast even. I looked at used g35's, 350z's, and even a 335i, all around this price range but liked the feel of the altima better. If i was going to drop 30g's on a car it def wasnt going to be the altima. But i liked the car better than the others and its a 6 speed, something that i didnt see available in the 3.5's in town. also, got a great deal on it being used with only 7k miles on it. :naughty: lol i dont regret my buy. And Thanks!

I could help you with this by wrapping the lip in Carbon Fiber as well as Send you Mirrors wrapped in CF. I have a bunch of spare mirrors I picked up from the junk yard just haven't gotten to posting them up. If you want to check out some of the picture of stuff look at this video it has a nice representation of what we do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMBX7GJE ... ature=plcp I could hook you up with the mirrors for $100 shipped to you. The lip would have to be ordered and then sent to you once done. Let me know if you would be interested.

Oh btw Awesome clean build I'm loving everything your doing.....I want to start over :/ I have so much going on with mine this winter it's ripped apart.

That'd be great! But to be honest, I'm dead broke right now. All mods on hold until Summer maybe. Don't wanna lead you on or anything. But a test drive would be cool. But I have a 2.5 so wouldnt it have to be reconfigured or whatever?

Haha not like you need it anymore but I'll get one up! I left my gf drive my car a bit in a parking lot and got to see what it sounded like. :ohno: It sounds great! I guess the headers + lack of resonators made yours a bit raspier. Mine sounds nice and deep.
