(those that have built sponsor vehicles know a lot of times it's 1,000 times more work and effort than simply paying top dollar for every part and every install.. but can be very fun and rewarding if done right.. it's definitely not a free lunch)
Thanks for your kind words.

I would never compare AP Racing to Rotora. AP Racing has a very good reputation/background in track. Its no competition when compared to Rotora. Though I was comparing Brembo and AP Racing when 'skiski329' mentioned Brembo.
My apologies.. was not trying to imply there is anything wrong with your setup. Compared to the stock brakes.. you'll have one daily problem if not prepared, and you mentioned it.. watching behind you if you dump the pedal.. and that is a very real statement. You can absolutely stop much better than the minivan looming towards you, cigarette in hand, cell phone on the ear..

It's fun though isn't it.. getting an open space to jump on the brake pedal? It can be just as rewarding as the gas or a good corner.. :D

No worries.

True that. They are definitely fun to use and abuse. I had hella of a blast when I bedded-in the brakes.

I have the AP Racing setup on my coupe and I have a lot of bedding in those puppies. The pads creates a lot of dust but the last time I spoke with Kyle, we has working with their supplier to make a better brake pad, one that doesn't glazes as easy in normal driving and with less dust.

Here's a pic of my setup:

Brembo (Race Technologies) does not list a kit for any Altima or Maxima.

Clarification on AP Racing / Brembo:

AP Racing was a spin-off of Automotive Products plc (which has been around for close to 90 years) almost 40 years ago. While Brembo corporate has owned AP Racing since 1999, they are operated completely separately. Brembo is headquartered in Italy and AP Racing operates out of the UK. No technical information is shared, as they are actually fierce competitors.

In the USA, Brembo high-performance products are distributed by Race Technologies. AP Racing road car products are distributed by STILLEN, and STILLEN develops US road applications (such as the Altima). Both companies use other distribution channels for their professional racing products.

Thanks! Liking the sig, it wants me to go autocross now.

By the way everyone, read my signature about ED. Just helping out the community and what people are getting into if you were to buy an ED product. I say this because I have spent $XXXX to get all this fixed.
