I ordered mine over the weekend - was just notified that they have been delivered. Very fast service. They will get installed over the weekend. I hope the new equipment will eliminate the vibration when braking.

Just a FYI - If you wait to order on the weekend via ebay, there is a 5% discount. :)

Yes. But I used to drive MUCH harder than most people and I have not been able to find any rotors that dont warp on this car. The longest set of rotors I have had last before warping was a little over a year of use. These warped for me in a couple weeks I think it was, but the stock rotors warped on day 2 of me owning the car. Id still recommend these though.

You guys ever consider a full Akebono BBK upgrade? It's pretty easy and the stopping power is great!

No doubt--BBK would be what to shoot for, but.....

Brakemotive kit $169.00 vs several 'bout $1200-1300?

Although i luv the look of the BBK, prolly spend that extra coupla hunnert on an Uprev, or wheels, tires, etc.

I'm not seeing these listed on eBay. Maybe they're not available for the 2011M...? can someone post the link, or the name of the seller?

Brakemotive76 is the seller.

I didn't see any kits for the 2011 M, only the G25/37, EX35, and FX35...sorry man, but maybe you could send them a message asking if they were going to start selling some for the 2011 Ms.

My set is still going strong! I daily drive my M and drive without fear I should say.... For the first couple thousand miles I was cautious but they have proven to be very "dependable"! These brakes are quiet, clean(lil or no noticable dust), stop great and are extremely affordable!! I have since put my stock 19" wheels back on the car and these rotors accentuate the"sport" look of my car!! I have probably put about 12k+ miles on this set already and have not one bad thing to say about them..... If I could go back and do anything different I would say have your calipers powdercoated for the finished look..... :dblthumb:

How do these rotors compare to the Stillen rotors? Obviously, lets put aside the price and just go with quality / longevity of the rotor. If you were not worried about the extra money, are they worth it..or would I be an idiot not to get these Evolution (ebay) rotor / pad deal?
Stillen rotors = http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=B ... &model=M45

Also, what is everyone's opinions on the best pad's? I am city driver with daily stop and go traffic.

I have about 6,000 miles on my set of Brakemotive pads and rotors, and have no issues at all. They still look great and perform very well. Best car parts bargain in the world.

Any advantage to paying the extra $150 for HAWK HPS pad's on these rotors?

So my 2010 M35 sport is having issues with the brakes. Front rotors need to be turned again (they were turned last October under a TSB) and the rear pads at at 4mm. I've had the car for 18 months and just turned 24k miles. 80-85% of my driving is highway & flat, using the ICC quite a bit. The rest is normal surface streets in suburban Phoenix area, not stop and go and I don't ride the brakes hard at all.

Since the factory brakes seem to be crap in terms of life and quite a bit more expensive to replace, would this rotor/pad set be a good bet and just replace everything at the same time or should I look at other options?

Lastly, why the heck would I get such short life out of my original rotors/pads??? First time I've ever had brakes go this quickly and not real thrilled about it. would a contact Infiniti be worthwhile?

Everyone has had terrible life and problems with the stock rotors. They are some of the cheapest and least dense rotors I have ever seen on a car, especially for how big and heavy our car is.

These are a very good option to replace the stock setup with. The entire kit, installed by yourself in less than 2 hours, will cost you 1/4 the cost of getting the stuff replaced with OEM at a dealership.

The Hawk HPS pads are the best pads I have ever used. They are quiet, have great stopping power, and very little dust. I would leave the ceramic pads it comes with at first and just move to Hawk pads once you need to replace the pads next time on. If you plan to do some hard driving though you may want to just stick the Hawk pads on right away and not use the ceramic pads it comes with.

I honestly wouldnt say it would be worth the extra $150 for hawk pads vs the ones that come with the rotors if you are doing everyday driving. On my M the ones that came with the rotors are quiet, clean and stop me with zero complaints. Spending the extra money would be just to say you have Hawk pads. Like was said before, use the pads that come with the rotors and after they wear out you can decide if you want to then change to hawk pads or not.

By the way, how the hell have you been? long time no talk. Any changes to your M?
