Its been awhile since I got my 240, two years ago today actually, so I figured I'd make a thread showing how far its come over the last two years.

As most of you know, I got it as a surprise birthday present from my boyfriend Jerry, nsrZ32. Here's a link to the thread when I first got it and finally became a Nissan owner. zerothread?id=222561

And here's a picture from the day I got it

In 2007 we did a few things with it including replacement of some random parts here and there. We installed NISMO strut/spring combo, HKS Hiper exhaust, and some other suspension bits (front and rear strut bars, outer tie rod ends, etc), an intake, clear markers, some emblems, etc. We also took the car to NICO meets in Carlisle and Nashville which were a lot of fun.

A picture from on the road to Carlisle and then one from Nashville, both courtesy of Evan

Here's a link to the suspension install zerothread?id=262096 and a couple pictures

I can't find the thread from the exhaust install so here's a couple pics

In 2008 we weren't able to do any national NICO meets but we did a lot more modding The car got an OEM front lip, a J30 LSD and axles, 350z Anniversary edition wheels with Bridgestone tires, a nismo power brace, circuit sports inner and outer tie rods and adjustable tension rods, aluminum subframe spacers, lower rear tie bar, electric fans, a new headunit, etc.

USDM kouki front lip

Here's a link to my wheels and a couple pictureshttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=356800

J30 LSD, lower tie bar, subframe spacers and electric fans from an Altima were also installed

Even put a little pink touch on the motor zerothread?id=346521

Late in the fall we got Z32 brakes (which are now pink!), new speakers, and for Christmas I got a header and a radiator air guide for the car

For 2009 I want to install all the new stuff and hopefully pick up a JDM kouki rear spoiler and whatever else catches my eye.

So there you have it...an update finally! let me know what you guys think

Looks awesome Steph. I remember reading the thread when you first got it, you were so excited.

Its come a long way, and you've kept it clean, and for that I congratulate you. I bid you at least 2 more years of happy driving.

very clean and nice. I like how your adding your own touch to it with the pink and what not. Not bad at all for only owning the car for two years. Keep up the nice work. And do you have any more pics or a link to that Z? That thing looks badass from the rear. Wouldn't mind seeing more of it.

Looking great Steph! I'm glad we've been able to do so much with it over the last two years. Will be nice to get some of the new stuff on it in the spring and further improve it. It makes me smile to see how happy this car makes you

So when we doing a 5spd swap?

I priced them today at Nissan Dealer and they are like $900 each!!

To OP, that Kouki is really nice! The rims do look great on the car. Thanks for the pics! I can't say I would sport pink paint anywhere on my car, but it's cool if your a girl I guess.

They got the wheels cheap and then completely refinished them. The color choice makes them look even better.

I should have never let them leave Southern Ohio .

No, they weren't mine, I was just part of the delivery process.

White Koukis with black USDM lips friggin' ROCK!!!

Funny. I remember reading a story in the local newspaper (Plain Dealer) a few years ago about a girl whose boyfriend surprised her with a 97 Kouki which she called her 'dream car'. I guessing this is you? Congrats on keeping it oh so clean!

Is that shot on the rooftop near the Rock n' Roll hall of fame?

Very cool, and nice updates on the car.

Any pics of the brakes done in pink and installed? What paint did you use to deal with the heat?

Thanks! Yeah that was me...Thats cool you saw the story in the PD, i never thought it would make the paper considering my car was a 'import' and most of the cars that made it in the dream car section were older muscle cars lol

Actually that pic was taken on top of a parking garage at Crocker Park in westlake. I definitely dont recommend taking your car there, the parking garage had wayy too many speed bumps lol

Thats awesome you have a kouki too and live in the cleveland area, not sure if Ive seen you around. I know there are a few in the area that I see. What color is yours?? Anything done to it?
