From all of the posts I've read it seems to be worth the money. That means not as good as the B&M, but less than half the price as well. Some people don't like how "notchy" the B&M is so its all about preference. I learned today that these are actually made by OBX, Megan is a subsidiary of OBX. So it's basically the same shifter. But Chris also gave us some tips on how to make it work and sound better so I am hoping I will like it. (haven't received it yet). Good luck.Josh

Ok, review of short shifter after a week of use....

Its not nearly as tight as it used to be. There is lots of play in 1st, 3rd, and 5th gears, but very solid in 2nd, 4th, and reverse. I tried tightening, loosening, etc the screws holding the blue thing down, but NOTHING helps. It still feels pretty good, but no where near as tight as it did when it was first installed.

Did you try wraping some tape around the ball like chris did? I'm expecting mine, but it hasn't gotten here yet.

I wrapped electrical tape around the black upper ball. The thick ball connected to the little ball with the plastic piece that is.

You see, on most aftermarket short shifters, they always make the upper ball to small. This causes it to be loose and have lots of play.

I simply measure with a tape measurer the top upper ball. Then I measure the stock megan ball. Took the difference, and started wrapping the megan one in tape. Until it came to the same diameter.

Easy really....

I guess I'm ghetto. Our customers used to laugh because they would always say, "You guys can do the most amazing stuff with the most uncommon part choices."

nah thats not ghetto....thats pretty smart and creative...i kind of dont know what your talking about but i guess i will when i get my short shifter and when i am removing my stock shifter.....cant wait i want it already!!!!!

Got mine today. Very pleased with the quality and the feel of the shifts for the most part. My only problem is that it likes to pop out of 2nd, or just not go in a all. I tried adjusting the bolts, but haven't had any luck making it better yet. Any suggestions?

I got an email saying you didnt get payment from paypal the other day so I sent money again last night. The shifter came in today so I beleive the money was sent twice. The money came from [email protected]. Can you check your files, I dont need 2.
