okay so if you guys didnt see my new post I heard my car run and it is perfect....except on deceleration. when you rev it it is fine but when it decels it sounds like the timing chain is rattling, but it seems tight. so i have no idea...anybody with insight is welcome to help

Hey, I'm new to posting on the forums, but I've been watching your build and it looks awesome. Me and my bro are working on our 240 at home and it's been a huge project too.

And you're stationed at Camp Pendelton? My Aunt and Uncle were posted there not too long ago...I've visited a few times, and I love that area. Anyways, good luck on the build!

Well I just went to check out the damages that they did to my car. they crushed my test pipe and broke a hanger on my exhaust...they are making me a new test pipe and rewelding the hanger.but on a side note I heard the engine run again and since they have been running it off and on the timing chain noise is no more. it was beasty, no exhaust...they said by next week I can have it back working.

the delays.....emance. sent me inop ecu, sent it back and going on more than 2 months without a return money/or productand the aem ems, back order....

Hey Martins, that's sick that you're at Camp Pendelton...hope you're likin it. Anyways, I wanted to know what kind of roll cage you have installed? Did you buy it or make it yourself? I've been looking for one that I don't have to cut up my dash to put in...Thanks.

its a cusco 6 point cage....hope you dont think you will be able to use on the track that much though. you get more hassle than without it. its because of what its made of. but it did stiffen the car up nice and tight.

well today I installed my godspeed sway bars. I like the difference but intallation, for the front, sucks d!ck...and the bushings that come with it suck. you will see when I post pictures... I also changed my rear wheel bearings. all of this on my coupe. my hatch will be back soon since they are changing my ems to one without the wideband and then ordering it seperate since they are back order for the set but seperatly they are available so look out for my wheel bearing write up, with pics. maybe ill get a custom title....Nico's Pig Farmer...

New pic of me and the hatchsway bars...notice the gap in the bushingsI dont even want to talk about the fitment in the front....but overall big improvment....now into the wheel bearings write up......

1. first you must take off the wheels.2. Now remove the caliper and then slide off the rotor.3. remove the cotter pin on the hub and the lock collar then with a impact remove the 36mm nut on the shaft.4. there are 4 bolts on the rear of the hub. rotate the axles so that you can remove them.5. once these are removed, grab the spindle and shake it loose off the splines.6. the tuff part is pressing the bearings off the spindle. I used a hydralic press to do it. the only pain was that the inside race of the bearing wouldnt come off so I had to cut it off.7. now press it all back together. make sure it is all the way to the stop of the spindle.8. reinstall it back to the hub. those 4 bolts.9. Now the spindle nut must be torqued down to at least 206 ftlbs and no more than 276 ftlbs. after that is down add the lock collar and install a NEW cotter pin.10. reinstall rotor and caliper and wheel.

Whats up devil. Your build looks great. When you scheduled to deploy? I am headed out in jun or july, for the 3rd time in 7 years. Deployments are good for 1 thing, Making that money for toys!!! I am planning a Rb25 swap when I get back. I already got my project car sitting in the garage. Good luck seems like u are doing it right!
