The rake of the Countach's windshield is unbelievable from the driver's seat. I've never driven one, but I've been in a couple. It feels like you're looking out the top of the car, not the front.

And LOL at "atomic death wedge." I'm pretty sure that needs to be a metal band.

I'm sure new Italian supercars are smashing. Only Lambo I ever drove was a Coutach and it was more of an atomic death wedge than a real sports car. Super cool, but not easy to drive.

I driven a couple of lambo's including a Countach. HAve to admit the Countach was sleek looking but I also was disappointing drived it as you couldn't see behind you. Not a bad driver though.

I've seen 2 GTO's and talked with the owners...both of them participated in rallies, drive-outs, and vintage races all the time.
Hell even the owner of the Oldest complete Ferrari drives it to car shows.

I think you might have gone off on the tangent, Scorched. Please note the OP's opening post, it's more than a simple fantasy car list:

"If you had to choose 10 cars to go in your garage what would they be?"

That implies your actually living with/using whatever cars you choose.

It would seem a bit short sighted to have all 10 be 2 seat exotic sports cars or single seat race cars, as some day you might want to haul more than one passenger or haul groceries/luggage, or even park at a mall. Trust me, you wouldn't want to park a Veyron at crowded Walmart parking lot, or use a modern day Formula one car (which requires help just to start and prone to overheating at slow speeds) to make a 15 minute trip to the Giant Food store.

So having a $1500 japanese sporty coupe, like an S13, among a top 10 car list might scream teenager, but for this list, it actually makes sense having a cheap car like that for grocery runs.
