I wouldn't know lol. I got to drive it once, and it was loads of fun. Love the sound of the turbo, too.ScorchedNX2K wrote:Horrible execution by mazda.ProudNissanFreak wrote: 2 - Mazdaspeed Miata NB
Horribly programmed ECU (Bogging, fuel cut, boost cut)
Insufficient Intercooler
Weak diverter valve
Still a beautiful car (MMmmm..Lava Orange)
And those problems can easily be fixed aftermarket.
Yay for vagueness.naladude911 wrote:Lambo
Not faster. Piston speed is a bit more complicated to calculate than most will think. A pretty good discussion about piston speed is http://forums.autosport.com/index.php?showtopic=69560ScorchedNX2K wrote:DC2 ITR.
The technical specs on the thing are amazing. Piston speeds faster than Honda's own F1 car for god's sake.

Just out of curiosity, what is so special about #9?Red coupe wrote:1.) Some sorta lotus 7, if I had to say right now prolly a Caterham R500
2.) Porsche GT3, Dunno what GT3 specifically... I have a ton of respect for Porsche and this car, but doubt I will ever actually own one so I have never put much time into learning them... Just know that when I got a ride it was something I wanted.
3.) Maxton Rollerskate, rare as hell, funny name, Lotus 7 sex apeal with a full body.
4.) Lotus 23B, How could you not have one?
5.) Gumpert Apollo, f*** cool little car.
6.) 1983 chevy van with built in flatscreen/surroundsound, disco ball, mini fridge, couch and some kinda fold out table

For the record, the fastest piston speed ever belongs to the 92 Honda RA F1 motor.
There is also the load and gravity factor that goes in part with how impressive it is for the motor to be turning at a certain speed.
f*** I seriously listed an 83 chevy van, I'd like to think this is close enough....Dattebayo wrote:Nobody listed the candy van... weak.

i just like this list because everything has a purpose. there's no "just because" vehicle. i'm all about my possessions having a specific role in my day to day activities. i don't need a 2 million hp car, what would i do with it? look at it? because i damn sure won't be driving it.Bubba1 wrote:67 Ferrari 330P4 (track car for historics)

I agree with you, but to be fair, I have not driven a Murcialago or Gallardo. But I feel similarly about most of european exotics. The advanced technology (launch control, fraction of a second paddle shifts, ultra wide tires, etc...) has kinda dulled what I thought was the ultimate in manual driving experience.HashiriyaS14 wrote:Much as I might like modern Lambos, it was all downhill from the Miura. The F40 and Daytona are the last Ferraris I really liked, and the Ghibli is the last Maserati, though for Porsche, I gotta admit I kinda liked driving a Carerra GT.
