top speed

i hacked my speed limiter and i got mine up to 130mph, kinda scary nethin past that.. (my old camaro went 150-160mph now thats hallin ***!)

lol ive top 230 but that was in a dragster

, other then that the fastest ive gone is 90 in my 240 and that was a long while ago. anyway thats my 2 cents

the speed limit around here is 70mph on the freeway, so most people drive over 80. but i think its the slow drivers that cause more problems on the roads

i got popped by an Okla state trooper on the turnpike at 125.....it was 5:30 am the road was empty, and i was late for formation at ft. sill....i saw the black and white camaro........smashed the brakes while saying a BAD word......looked at the speedo and saw 110.........said more BAD words......saw flashing lights in the rearview........pulled over........and was VERY respectful when he asked me what exactly was my hurry......i was in military uniform and told him i had overslept and was late for first formation.....he let me off with a warning after chewing on my butt a bit

see, sometimes it is great to have an automatic!!!

well youd be redlining 5th before 140mph plus there is no need to go any faster(from a manufactuer's stand point)

haha. correction: very fun. jkone of my friends was telling me one time that his friend with a porsche was doing some pretty high speeds and the front end felt like it was starting to lift because there was very little fuel in the tank (tank in front of car)

^ in a non-stock 240 of course. I can't see a stock 240 surpassing 120 very often. With the proper aerodynamics, you could reach some pretty high numbers

I think about 150+ with a 7200rpm rev limit on a ka. do it with a GPS.

110 at california speedway.

at the road that connects the entrance with the rear lots. damn. can't believe i did that (posted speed limit was 15)

but nobody was at the road and i hit 110, then let off the gas and coasted to about 20

i have a 91 coupe, basic turbo set up, 6psi....got mine up to 143 tracked by gps...long story short my dad gave me a cell phone with gps on it and he found out how to track it and it tells how fast im going in which direction....let me jsut say that the talk i got that night wasnt very good....

Yes the cool guy that 240sxowner was talking about is me. And those were fun times...I seriously miss them. I hit 118 around 2 in the morning racing a "modded" civic (in the 240).
