I had an antelope burger for dinner, just for you guys. Mmmmmm, was it good! Mad props to my buddy from Wisconsin who goes back up there and to Minnesota and brings back wild game and proceeded to hook a brutha UP! I've got whitetail deer chops for dinner tomorrow. And more antelope for the NICO meet in June. Wahoo!

BTW, this doesn't deserve it's own thread, unlike antelope burgers, but I was next to a Chevy Malibu that was adorned with honest-to-god fake GT-R badges. The sad part was that it was actually pretty clean, but also had the chrome, chain-link license plate frame. Ghey. :rolleyes

Oh great, now I'm hungry. I gotta go find some flesh to consume.

I see an eclipse around here with a gtr badge on it's hood. can't nissan do what honda did and stop ppl from selling the damn thing so 'tards can't put them on cars that don't deserve them?

I once read an article that discussed that over 1million small animals (rabbits, squirls, chipmonks) are killed every year in the harvesting of soy, wheat & other grains. Take that you vegi ppl.

vegans are scarier than vegitarians. vegans are crazy. no animal products at all or products made in the same machines as animal products. PETA is the devil and oh so scary. :batman

God fearing men know the truth about animal flesh.

Acts 10:13 "And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat."

This concludes our Bible class for today.

Kill, Kill, Yeah!!!!!!!!!!

What's that old saying, "If we had to kill what we ate, we would all be vegatarians." I love dead, charred animals. I dont mind popping a cap. I just aint bleeding, skinning, and gutting the darn thing.

Had some great deer burgers about two weeks ago. Friend that snipes Bambi brought them to me. Mmmmmmm, good.

***why do you guys hate vegitarians so much????***

I don't tell people what to eat and what not to eat.. why should you.. What makes you superior just because yo u eat "meat"?

just because God created animals does not mean they were made for consumptions... so by that though... would you eat humans if all the animals are gone???

someo of you make no sense at all... just some ignorant F's ... get your $hit str8.... and don't just come on a thread bashing people for no reason!!!

I'll back you up on that Black240. I was raised a vegetarian (Mom is a vegan). But every now and then I cant say no to a nice juicy Whopper. And SRSmith, is your name Peter?? Those were special instructions to an apostle. Dont take it outta context... People were first "allowed" to eat meat after the Flood cause there wasnt any vegetation left. And cyberkrieg, do you know how much food it takes to raise a herd of beef cattle??? If the grain (or whatever) was used to make human food, it could feed many more people. Does it make sense to grow corn, then feed it to a herd of livestock, then eat the livestock?

Does to me. Also doesnt make sense to complain about the sensless killing of animals when it is going to happen no matter what kind of maspoduced food you eat.

well, S15 kid, you obviosly didn't bother reading the chapter from which i quoted. that's fine though. you didn't back up anything you said in any way with any scripture. I'm sure you were just in a hurry to spout off something you overheard 10 years ago while you were dozing off in church. continue not backing up what you say with fact or reference and soon you'll find yourself with ZERO credibility!

If God didn't want us to eat meat, you'd have molars in the FRONT of your mouth. Think about it. :D

Those sharp ones in the front? For ripping and tearing of flesh.

ah yes, vegans and vegetarians. i have nothing against them. although i worry about the health of vegans, you can really screw up your body by cutting out that much protein.

human beings are omnivores, like bears we eat vegetation+meat. it's part of our diet. there are nutrients in meat that cannot be found in vegetables, and if they are, they are in such low quantities that you have to take vitamin supplements, which still puts your body at a disadavantage.

but if someone makes a choice to go vegetarian, at least they are educated enough to take into account the vitamins they'll be needing to take. and with that said, vegetarians can be healthier than us non-vegetarians. (i.e. the crap-meal that farms feed cattle, chicken is alarming) so it's always good for us meat-eaters to have a broad diet.

bringing up religion is besides the point, there's no need for it. and i am questioning the point of this thread topic because i would think the majority of the board are not vegetarians.

but no hard feelings i hope !

black240, you go boy!;)

Jesus balls...i wondered when some vegetarians would wonder in here all snappy like. I have my reasons to dislike vegetarians. I went out with one and not only would she not cook anything good but if i tried to cook something, she'd be all like "Why the **** didn't you make anything for me." It was a lose, lose situation the whole time. The only real problem i have with vegetarians, is with the ones that don't do it for the animal slaughter aspect, but because they actually believe its a healthier lifestyle. I'm sorry, but without meat you are seriously hurting your chances at becoming as healthy as you could be. That's just my two cents, and i'm sure if you guys lived with a *****y vegetarian you might have been agitated as well.

I'm sure you have your reasons but you can't just generalize that to all vegitarians.. that is just plain ignorant... just like you do not want to be generalized as "ricer" because you own a japanese car... just think of it that way... and as far as the health reasons go...

There are 2 sides to the coin... overall if you are vegitarian.. you *can* be way healthier than someone who eats meat.... and vice versa...

I don't take any vitamin pills or anything and I am actually a lot healthier than many of my friends who eat meat... it's all on what you eat and things like that... yea, I am skinny .. but that's partly because of me not eating meat but it mostly is because I have a very high motabolism(sp).. I burn through calories like a fat kid thru a pizza. I burn as much calories sleeping than most while they are active...

I know what I'm talking about... there are 2 sides to everything.. yea you can have your 2 cents but then again so can everyone so you have to respect other peoples 2 cents and they will as well.

This is very true. I tried on two separate occasions to go "veggie" and my body did not respond well at all. In fact, after about two months of trying (both times) I found myself losing a ton of strength and starting to become anemic. And I knew what nutrients and amino acids were necessary to make up for the loss of meat, and followed the plan...but in the end, it just didn't work for my body, for whatever genetic reason. I have to eat at least a small quantity of meat every so often, I can't live on veggies and vitamins alone.

That being said, ostrich burger and buffalo burger are good, too...
