this is what you used right? "chassis coat"...http://www.canada-por15.com/me...coats

Its not the same as the Por15 anti rust coating right?

So if i wanted the absloute best rust protection use... por15 rust coating THEN the chassis coat?

Thanks

That's the stuff. Pretty tough coating. And for best results, I'd suggest spraying on. I used a brush, and you can see strokes in some areas.

the only difference from spraying it verses brushing is cosmetic? Just wondering because im sure you have to use thinner to make it spray able..either way the rust protection has the same effectiveness?

Just want to make sure, thanks!

As per nwmrkt's post, it's on this link:

http://www.canada-por15.com/me...coats

And yeah, you would need to add thinners. It was a long job though doing it by hand.

Well I took a small break from it. But once I get it to a point where I can hurt it all day long, then the fun will start. The funny thing is now, I'm looking at my run-down JDM '84 Mitsubishi Galant (Sigma) Turbo wondering when I should start rebuilding that. The build process is a lot of fun, and the 3.5 years doing you sorta get used to it. But I do enjoy driving it. The new trim and floor mats makes it smell like a new car. Something you can't really get with a smelly car deodoriser.

Car's looking gorgeous as usual Brendan! One of these days, I'm gonna take a vacation to western Aussie land. I have a friend out in Bunburry who I've been threatening to visit for about 4 years now.

I really like the gas door. It's a nice touch and not a common thing for s13s with overfenders. As uaual, amazing quality work.

My brother-in-law lives in Brisbane, so we are planning on visiting there someday. It'll be awsome if I can see that car in person.

Funny you should mention that, there's a bloke from Netherlands who's travelling around Australia in January/February next year who contacted me wanting to know if he could check out the car when he comes through Perth...so we'll be hooking up. More than welcome to come check out the car and go for a spin if you ever come down this way.
