UAE Resident Buys World’s Most Expensive Car For $2.4 Million

A man from the UAE bought the world’s most expensive car, for approximately $2.4 million (Dh9 million). The vehicle is a special edition Veyron Grand Sport Bugatti L’Or Blank with porcelain accents, including a caviar tray. The car is painted white with royal blue lines curving along the exterior.

The vehicle features 12 porcelain elements, including wheel badges and fuel and oil caps. A panel mounted between the seats has the Bugatti symbol of an elephant standing on its hind legs.

The porcelain dish in the center console is a highlight of the car. It can serve as a caviar tray, when used together with an ice bucket that’s part of a specially designed picnic set.

The L’Or Blank is a joint creation of Volkswagen AG’s supercar brand and KPM, a Berlin-based 248 year old porcelain maker which traces its roots back to King Frederick the Great of Prussia.

VW purchased Bugatti in 1998 along with the Lamborghini and Bentley to compete with Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW)’s Rolls-Royce. Bugatti, makes about 50 cars a year.

The previous most expensive car was the Bugatti 300 Veyron 16.4s costing approximately $1.74 million.

what up...here's something that I wanted to share (lost my SD card)

on 4th of July we were chilln and enjoying the day when we all heard a big bang!!! times 3....sad to say, an elderly driver (also handi capped) lost control of his car (possibly blinded by the sun) hit several parked cars...officers said he could have been on meds or been drinking...crazy enough, the street is a 40mhp zone so he must have been going a little faster than that...witnesses on the scene were walking by and almost got hit...

exactly...I always try and avoid parking on the sides of streets...reminds me of when I go to Home Depot or to the mall, I try and park in the most secluded areas but only to come out and see others parked next to me -- especially when there are other vacant spots on the lot....damn! LOL....

^^That's one of the reasons elderly people should take mental & physical check ups every year for driving purposes... i.e. renew their license every year or implement some type of regulation on them.

^Yeah them too... seriously no B.S... kids shouldnt begin to drive by themselves until they're at least 18, unless they join the military or have driving work waivers with time stamps... strict, legit driving work waivers.

Also, there should be one person accountable to this country's monies... make a position for him to be 3rd in line for the presidency (regardless of party.)

I think they look the same as the reg ones during night man, the best time to look at them imo is at twilight. I'll take pix tomorrow tho, see if they look any different... and those from the vid seem to be the clear ones, there's clear & darker ones, Craig went to the dealership to check them out for me before I bought them just to make sure they looked nice... there's a bunch of pictures from different Ms & even the 08+ M fuga tails on another thread I started.
