XT7's man... do it!

i dunno about the 17/18 stagger though... never been a fan.

Honestly dude, I'd just stick to 17's all around. I never really liked the look of 18s on kouki aero, even if its just for the rears. Too big imo...

I agree. sometimes. It seems to me that the lower the car, the smaller the wheels look.

It's windy as HELL out. Keeps blowing my work rug away.

Oh, well mine are XXR 962's.
troskinatior wrote:are you selling the test pipe? if so how much, and how much for the coils
The test pipe I need. The coils, I'm not sure how much yet. They're not blown from what I can tell.

Yeah, I was running pretty rich with JWT ecu.

XT7's are awesome and they don't really break the bank too much either. I'm a BIG fan of 17/18. It gives the car a really nice rake and you can tuck the rear HARD.

IMO, the closer the fender gets to the wheel, the wheel looks BIGGER.

i will say this though, you won't find all the type x parts for 900 even in the classifieds. most times bumpers go for 200, rear valences for 200, and sidskirts for 400-500. you're at 800 right there and thats not even with the brackets, extensions and lights. you aren't gonna find crazy good deals on that stuff since its pretty sought after.
look. side skirts are not 400-500 crazy deals are there you just have to look and watch ebay daily. i paid 215 shipped from japan for mine.lol sure they weren't perfect. but they work.

what do you want for the cusco bars.

10k/8k springs. I scraped alot, yes but only BOTTOM-BOTTOMed out on hard bumps that I can't avoid. And to get that nice flush, you need low offset and no wheel gap.

Yeah I've seen skirts and valences go for dirt. JDM shops like Elite like to overcharge for s***.

For the Greddy front bar and Cusco rear bar, throw me $150 and they're yours. Trying to buy some 5 lug stuffs.

yeah its possible but the average price for new skirts is 600 before shipping and used is normally not 200ish thats just an exceptional deal

Im pretty sure $2-300 +shipping is the going rate for decent condition used OEM s13 skirts. You can def find a mint(pretty much brand-new) set of oem s13 side-skirts for under $400 shipped, believe me because Ive done it, and sure quite of few others have too.

I haven't really had much time to work on the 240 too much. 12-14 hour days suck a**. Plus finals are next week...

Got a shot of the daily after I fixed the steering wheel shake going up to speed.

$400 car with bent steelie with steering shimmy + S13 teardrop = AWESOME beater.
Dizel01 wrote:Elite JDM over charges on everything. F*** them....thats right I said it.
Yeah but they're still cool peoples at the end of the day.
White Comet wrote:yeah its possible but the average price for new skirts is 600 before shipping and used is normally not 200ish thats just an exceptional deal
From prices I've seen, Kouki skirts sell for $300-400 shipped all day. I don't think I'd go the extra distance to get new skirts. They're gonna touch the ground on my car anyway.

He has the rear 5-lug that I DON'T want. It requires Z32 upright conversion sleeves. Somebody from Oklahomo is selling me the whole S14 conversion for my wheels and he'll pay shipping plus some cash from his end so I'll see how that plays out.

I can't see non-Kouki S13 side skirts ever go for more than like $250 plus shipping.

Lol thanks man. Do you still want me to get a shot of my lack of A/C compressor + bracket?

The sides could be better (read: HOT ROAD) but I really LOVE the rear valences. Kouki stuff IS getting overdone but still looks awesome nonetheless. I'm gonna see if I can find some other SEXY aero.

Hehe you'd be pretty dumbfounded to hear my reasoning.

My front JIC's are maxed with both collars removed and I wish to go lower. Bad news is that PBM won't sell me just the fronts and neither will Stance. I don't mind having a different coilover brand front and rear especially since I really like how my JIC's absorb bumps in the rear of the car. Anthony from Elite is actually hooking me up with a pair of front Kei Office's for cheap but I'm just unsure how low they'll bring me. I want to know that if I really wanted to, I could frame my car.

Kouki is out of the picture.

Some dude in New Zealand has a Kouki hatch with XT7's ready to go on.

Probably TE's I don't know.

I'm not going to abandon the XT7's just yet. If I can't find a place that stocks them without having to wait 6-8 weeks from Japan, I'm going with NT03's in 18x9.5 +27/18x10.5 +30.

As soon as I find a buyer for the coupe (MGE??) I can pick up this minty auto hatch from New Brunswick.

It's been weirdly warm lately so I guess I have time to work on the coupe and update.

Sold my skirts and rear valences to Dale (Dizel01) and got stock springs/shocks from Doug (I<3myrhs13 or something lol). After driving to where they live at by to pick pick up/sell, I definitely commend you guys for having any type of drop on any car lol.

Threw the stock springs and shocks on as well as stock RUCA's.

I'm two stock tension rods away from tearing up the neighborhood again for a little bit. This time, without scraping in my "known" spots.

Yeah, here, don't mind the dirty dirty bay. I haven't paid attention to it in over a year.

For the A/C fittings on the firewall, I found that a soda cap and a rubber plug I had laying around worked perfectly.
