so why not put in a rear window? seems like chopping off the roof of a car with a sunroof would be ideal for keeping a nice seal and clean look. and you could get a dome light, how convienent.

it shouldn't affect it at all. the most structual damage i did was remove the quarter windows. they do alot! i'm done with this piece for now. i need to get some self etching primer and put it on the raw metal yet. i have parts on the way for the KA-T too. bwahahahaha anyway, more pics!!!

eddo me a favor

stand back, and get a straight horizontal picture of the cari want to see how you guys did the bedrails

also underneeth where you welded the square stock to

and wtf are you going to do when you have to change a lightbulb smartone?

oh and, maybe take off those sidepanels, and run 3-4 veritcal square stock, so when a tire rolsla round the bed, and hits it, it doesnt leave a big dent....

I think he is just using it for the track. So would he need a bulb replaced? Im not sure. I dont really know if you have to have functional taillights or headlights..

wow, i have to learn to weld. i am missing out on a lot of fun. i always like the 240 trucks, i always wanted to build one, put a kouki front end on it and of course call it "el kouki" flat black with mucho cheesy pinstriping!

well if i was behind this car on a track i would like him to have fuctional bulbs. i dont think rear ending cars at 80mph would be very fun.

but anyways ed +1 for doing this. looks like your gettin pretty serious about this build. just dont give up half way through like alot of people do!! i havent really read the whole thread but what kinda aero and wheels are you plannin on running?

If you spray some Wd40 on the left over tar residue it will dissolve off very easily.

Hey Ed nice work. Not to jack your thread, but have you seen the Fives Stars truck? It started live as a 240sx as well and has been transformed into an uber clean R32 truck, complete with RB25...Peter did a wonderful job on this project car too... check it out. Any way, keep it up, looks good!
