i have 0 respect for people that buy a car for the sole purpose of "dressing it up" for attention.

they pull up in a parking lot, and they expect people to flock to thier car and tell them over and over again how "cool" thier car is.

i've seen it happen soooooooo many times...people run up to kiss the owners *** just because of his/her car. me, i'll just sit there in my car thinking to myself "what a bunch of mindless tools".

someone will wav me over or say "hey, lets go check this car out" , then i'll reply "no thanks , id rather watch paint dry".

some of you will think im being a "hater " , id rather be "doing" something car/motorsports related rather then just standing there looking at someone elses car.

i just wanna walk up to those people and say " your car does not impress me" , but i keep it to myself.

i cant stand those types that the second they buy a car, they mod the living hell out of it.......listen people, learn your car before you change your car. that is, if your serious about driving/racing.

stop trying so hard to "fit in" buy dropping $10k on you car just so you can pull up to someone and say "yea, so, im a drifter" , or for those real punks, "yea, i'll race you for $500".

i dont care what your car does in the 1/4 mile, no i dont care about your speakers/amps/nos. and fix your damn hat, it looks like you fell down.

BUT, i do have respect for people that actually "drive " thier car...i respect people that are active in SCCA Solo2 events, Drifting events, or any type of racing school/karting or motorsports in general.

i guess i just want everybody to stop being such posers, but, it'll never happen..to many mindless tools are among us.

I agree with you on the car riced out imo, no offence,jeffjoel2424. But if you 2 raced you would probobly be neck at neck, it would be a battle of the air 'n takes and the fart pipes.

wow can we all please chill out, this is supposed to be a place where all 240 owners get along and share information. i dont see anything wrong with "modding out" your car right as you get. if you have the money, go ahead, its not hurting anyone but the self asteem of the other peolpe that are jealous and hate on people who are more fortunate to be able to do that. dont want to start a battle, i just want people to quit hating and just post up some pics.

The thing is most of us bought these cars b/c we love to drive them. I am not a FWD kinda guy. The truth is he's probably got more money to plop down on his ride. Who cares, If I had 10g's to blow I'd plop it on my car too. BUT, If everyone was drifting 240's instead of dressing them up, this $h!* would be boring. Enjoy the fact that your car is different, go out and blister some honda's @$$. And Nice ride man...

Iam not taking anything personal,is his opinion,but dont critize another persons cars,240sx are not only for drifting or if you have a 240sx by law you would have to put in a sr20det or a rb26 motor,hey,if you have the money to put an sr20det or a rb26 or a $1500 front s13 or 15 conversion,lucky you are ,keep the good work,the firts time that I got here in nico,I havent critize any car here,why,because everyone has their style,custom and a way to modified their cars this is my style and what I could afford to put in my car,for a $400 car that I bouth.Some perons like their 240sx with sr20 and rb26 with 500hp and the dont care how their car looks, others like their cars to look awsome with an sr20 motor and style,others just body kit conversions an no racing at all. Me,I just dont have the money to put an sr20det or RB26 motor,because I like both,hows my car looks and going fast,but I only can achieve good looks dont have the money.But hey were a family here,everyone here has a 240sx,silvia,180sx,sileighty, let help us,not critize anybodys car,peace.

we have an opinion how a car should look/perform/sound etc etc etc......so we buy a car and strive to meet those "goals" or opinions that we have set for ourselves

I was always told as a kid that and by the looks of his car he was told quite often that " If u got a f on your test because u didnt study it doesnt make it right just because thats what u wanted to do." And I think that applies to his car. You might as well move on to bigger and better things now that u have conquered a 240sx and go buy a Honda because u will probally fit in a little better in that crowd !!!!!
