Straight enough yeah?

Just gotta put on my exhaust, drop the rear down again, get an alignment. And I'm ready to rock this weekend :)

The other side seems to have taken the bulk of the impact. What does the passenger side look like now?

Killed 8 tires, ran 100 miles on the track, over 2 days, in 100+ degree weather.
Demolished one CE28, lost a fog lamp duct, lost my rear plates, and dragged my exhaust a couple of times. What an awesome way to finish the driven life of my Z32. Video and pics to come :)
Some pics of the carnage.

The story behind it...
3rd gear ebrake initiation (75-80mph), long slide. The tire flat spotted and burned a hole through the tire, causing it too pop. Due to all the speed I was carrying sideways, and all the lateral forces on the tire, not only did the tire debead itself, the tire completely dismounted itself from the wheel. (Before people try to blame a stretched tire for this occurence, it was a wide 265/35 mounted on there, hardly a stretch). When the tire came off the wheel, it got taco'd behind the wheel, and the wheel obviously made contact with the ground making a God awful sound, and bringing me to a halt. The tire prevented any kind of rotational motion from occuring on that side, and I had to get towed out, so the wheel was just dragged along, locked in place, from where I spun, to my pit area. I'm just glad the wheel didn't shatter :)
Video to come!
Now the car is back at my work, waiting to be pulled apart. And thus ends the driven life of my car. She went out with a huge bang. Needless to say, the new Z will have some big shoes to fill.

Well, im glad it was a success, to bad bout the Volks... Seems like you had fun with her at the events, which is very nice to hear and see, As much as it is depressing to see and hear about her last track days, im glad she went out stunning, and indeed, your next Z will have a big gap to fill up and live up to what this Z has lived up to.. I have very high expectations, with your next z, or any car in your hands. Keep us updated on your hunt for the next Z... GL man..

Farewell, Edgar's heroic Z...

Transferring everything I need from it over to the new car. Parting out the rest and leaving it as a rolling chassis. Then using it as the mock up car for the 1JZ swap later on.

Pretty much everything non aftermarket is staying on the Z. So if you guys need parts for a 2+2, just ask. But give me some time.

Let me know when you have the parts car set,
I would like to go check it out and see what I can
purchase, like the rear driver marker... And other small parts.

Best footage of the Z32 to date... the car was like a swan swooping around in a pond. Makes me love the abilities of the Z even more. Fantastic!

Oh Edgar, so very sorry to see this happen to you and your car. Hopefully you're OK. Same exact way my silver Z was totaled. Given the suspension work you have into it, you may want to consider buying it back and parting out/saving for your new TT :chuckle:

Hope you work things out with insurance, they can be real pigfcukers in the whole process.

If you addressed those comments in the other pages I apologize, I didn't read everything.

BTW, sick send off :dblthumb:

The car is already bought back and insurance is taking care of me. $5k and I get to keep the car. Currently waiting on the check so I can buy this 2+2 a guy is holding for me at the moment.
