Really sorry to see this man, you had one of the cleanest Zs around. Don't let the insurance company lowball you or if they do sic your insurance company on them.

I am convinced these cars are cursed. Last year mine was broken into once and backed into twice.
Don't say that. I test drove a slickback this past friday... :frown:

Guys, Edgar already said he wanted an I6 in a Z32. Particularly, a 2JZ.

Closing in on the replacement Z. Then the 3 day build can commence.

You can see how much the body is actually shifted forwards here

There's actually an indentation in the inner fender from the spring. I hope the shock is undamaged

This is how much the body is shifted in relation to the subframe

I would say that you will most likely have an issue in the near future with a failing seal if it didnt bend the shock shaft or mar it at all. If either of those happened you will need to get a new one so check that ish out before you just go swapping into a new chassis.

Widebody + Z32 is redundant, IMO. Edgar stuffs so much wheel & tire under stock fenders, he don't need no stinkin' widebody...

to each their own. i believe he was running 10.5 with 285s at one point that looked good. i cant imagine what kind of wheel and tire he could get under there with a widebody... 12.5 inch wheel, 6 inch lip with a 335 in the back would be insane. im sure edgar would be able to pull something like that off too.

I take it you daily drive, and track your Z? Beautiful Z by the way. Shame what happened to it. Has always been one of my inspiration Zs.

Yeah, daily driven 130k miles since Feb 07. Tracked every 1-2 months. And it had to be killed in a rear end collision. So lame.
HOWEVER... I decided to give it one last hurrah at the track. I'm pulling the frame straight enough to drive and doing All Star Bash with it this weekend. Gonna resurrect it in these next few days. Zombie Z time :)

Videos and pics will happen. It won't be the prettiest car out there, but whatever. I want to drive. And considering what it just went through, it deserves one final event to send it off properly.
