Yup! The Altima and J30 both came out of the La Jolla, CA design studio if I'm not mistaken. So did the 2000 Maxima/I30.

my 94 J30 with 104000 miles on it...obviously that isnt the original pearl paint...i went with a flat white because i wanted to do something different(not to mention some broad ran a stop sign and took my front bumper with her-i still need to get the reenforcement so i can get it properly aligned bc right now its not straight as u can tell)...so far ive got a k&N filter(debating on whether or not to upgrade to the JWT pop charger) 2 high flow cats and 2 magnaflows with 2 1/4'' pipes dumped out on the drivers side at the rear of the car...in the process of getting headers(2 1/2") fabricated as well as a cold air intake...its confusing having only 1 MAF sensor and 2 throttle bodies bc the position of the MAF isnt in an ideal place to upgrade although i do know the guys in nissan put it there for a reason...so i know its practially impossible to find aftermarket suspension for the car so i might have to go the expensive way and get some struts made but i want to drop it an inch all the way around since its not a t and i dont have the HICAS(try to eliminate some body roll)...oh yeah the rims are 18's and ive ordered the infiniti center cap to put on them...has anyone ever upgraded the injectors or cams???also does anyone know if those JET performance chip upgrades actually work or will it screw up my car...ive got a buddy who told me who could port and polish the head but seeing as im not mechanically inclined i dont exactly know what that would do...lastly does anyone know if a "SLIM" subwoofer(maybe a 10) would fit on the rear deck between the back speakers???any input whatsoever would be most helpful...-K

woah nice car. looks like ur parking lights are out? How did you tint the sidemarkers?

The sidemarkers are hyper white L.E.D's, and i tinted all the sidemarkers and rear lights using VHT niteshades with krylon fusion clearcoat over it. You can see the rear lights better in page one.

Hids are 9006 plug and play kit off ebay..i got them for 80 bucks shipped and its the slim ballast..and the wheels are 18" SSW they are 18x8 all around with Nitto tires and they are 225/40/18 in the rear and 215/40/18 in the front..gotta have it staggered

LOL Staggered does not mean you have bigger tires in the rear, you said your rims are 18x8 all around staggered means you have 18x8 in the front and 18x10 or by 9 in the rear that is staggered

A staggered fitment is also referred to as a staggered application. Basically, it means that the wheels on the back of the vehicle are a different size than those on the front. Wider wheels are usually run on the back; for example, 19x8 on the front and 19x9.5 on the rear. This is typically done on rear wheel drive cars such as Infiniti G35, Nissan 350Z, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Ford Mustang, and others. Running wider wheels on the drive wheels means more grip on acceleration, and, from an aesthetic perspective, large lips. The TSW Thruxton 20x10, for example, carries a huge 5" lip.

A staggered fitment can also mean larger diameter wheels on rear, like 17" diameter on the front and 18" diameter on rear. Some examples of this would be aftermarket Acura NSX and Chevy Corvette.

yeah my tires in the back is wider soo that means its staggered

yes but 10mm...isnt going to make much of a difference, if anything it would make the sidewall more flexible being 10mm larger on the same 8" rimand same aspect ratio.

because not only is it 10mm wider on the same size rim , it's a 2-3 mm taller with having the same aspect ratio. Giving more sidewall. Minimal yes, but to me defeats the purpose of a staggered set.

This is my 93 j30 with 110k miles. it has a custom exhaust system using two 2.5" hi flowmonster cats with a y-pipe goin straight back to a megan racing carbon fiber muffler with titanium 4" tip,hks super hybrid air filter,nokya 9006xs lights,piaa xtreme white turn signals,license plate,and reverse lights,smoked front and rear sidemarkers,j30 trunk badge delete,replaced the stock floor mats with all black ones to match the interior and blk/grey racing seat covers,spare tire delete,etc.
