I find that kind of odd. Arn't they all coming over on the same boat? Maybe they put all 5 sets into one big box and buddy over there at shipping has no idea what he has

Anyways I hope they get here soon so that I can lower the car and put my wheels on.

Sorry guys, he said they could be here any day when I called yesterday, but more likely another week. I've known and dealt with this guy for like 6 years, I know where he lives, we've done a good bit of business together over the years, so I'm not worried, it's just frustrating that they take so damn long!

Ok, got another update. I finally got more details out of them. The way Tein does it is they ship a container every 2 months when it's full. The one set came over on their last container because it was all they had in stock, the other 4 sets should be on the way now, it's 2 weeks at sea, and then however long it takes to clear customs. So the rest of them should be here and out of customs in about 2-3 more weeks. Basically Tein act like they're really doing us a favor and get attitude when we keep asking where they are, I'm thinking to get 10 more sets just so we have them in stock.

Now Q-ship paid first for his set, and Rad paid 2nd. Technically that means Q-ship has dibs on them, but Rad needs them asap to get them on his car, and get his car past inspection. So Michael, if it's allright with you, I'm gonna send the first set to Rad and the rest of them as soon as they arrive.

I could really use them to. I have a limited window to install them. I would really hope to get them considering I have had the longest wait.

Thats cool Kevin. So you are saying that they will be in your hands in three weeks or that the ship will hit the docks in three weeks and then have to clear customs? Also the shipping quote that you gave me, is it 7-10 days delivery or quicker? Because I am willing to pay a little extra to get them a little sooner. Let me know. BTW thanks for the update.

I sent you an email yesterday, but yes, your set is being shipped soon. I'm supposed to pick up the springs today and will ship them out Monday.

I was told today that they should be here "any day". I guess Tein's container is here and once it's cleared I should be getting them.

Thats the greatest news I've heard all day . So it sounds like early next week you should have them in your hand and then ship them out mid to late next week?

I am hoping that there will be some good news soon. I really want to drive my car this year . I will be going on holidays on the third week of May for a week and I am hoping that the springs will be waiting for me at my door. Don't make me come down to Cali because then heads will roll (jk lol).

I know this isn't what you guys want to hear. BUT, Tein finally gave me some legitimate info on them. As I've mentioned, they have been acting like they're doing us a big favor, and have not really told me anything more definitive than "they'll be here soon". Now I was told today that they WILL be here by the 2nd week in June. And I have ordered 7 more sets just to prove to them that these are worth bringing over for us. Their reasoning -or excuse- is that these were never intended for the US market and we've bought more than they had or anticipated needing, so they have to make more to accommodate us.

SO, here's the deal, if you guys that are still waiting, the remaining four of you, wait it out, I'll toss in some Simpson t-shirts as a gesture of thanks for putting up with this ridiculous wait. IF after the 2nd week in June, there are still no boxes of springs for me to pick up, I will gladly refund anyone that's sick of waiting. I will still get the springs though, as they are paid for and I will then sell them again on here, my site that's almost built up or eBay. Thanks for everyones patience, I know if I was waiting I'd be getting pretty pissed off, and I am getting pretty pissed off too.

Well I have waited this long. There is no point in turning back. It sounds like they are giving you the run around. What ever happened to the tein container that was supposed to be in customs; or was that bull**** as well. You would think that a company would be bending over backwards for its customers instead of telling them to **** off. They could of at least offered to pay the shipping on the springs or cut you a better deal. I appreciate everything that you are doing for us but you have to understand our point of view. **** one could of walked it over faster than tein will ship!!

I will take you up on that shirt offer. I take a XXL or XL if it fits large. Thanks for the update no matter how ****ty it was.

I'm in no hurry, fortunately, I'll take a large t-shirt.....they come in black? I'll take a second in a medium in white for the wife if that's possible. Thanks for the update, just hope they are at my house by July when I get there. Thanks.

Thanks for the news, Kevin. The foot dragging that seems to be going on at Tein is certainly beyond your control and probably the product of a seller's market for them. My guess is that your (our) relatively small order is of low priority and represents a pain in the butt to them. It stands to reason that you have very little leverage in this situation.

Falk's Simpson t-shirt offer helps to ease my spring fever. I'll take an XXL when the time comes. By any chance, would the shirt graphics feature any of your work? It seems to me as if this shared ordeal has elevated you and "we who wait" to cult status. I, for one, will hang in there with the rest of the "Brotherhood of the Coil"and wear my shirt proudly. (Although my wife, the Iron Swede, has expressed concern over what she terms "the unfortunate use of the word coil", I kind of like it.) May the rebound force be with you.

Well, you guys can have a nice weekend knowing you should have your springs by the end of next week / beginning of the following week!! I got a call on my way to work this morning, and I should have the springs in my hands on Monday, 5/15. WOOOOOOO Weeeee!!!! Thanks for all you guys' patience. I'll post again once I ship them out.

Just for clarity's sake, the 4 sets have arrived. The other 7 sets I ordered will probably be here by Christmas
