Man, we hit a nerve there Kevin!! Hey, you said in your post that you'd know more on the KYBs by monday, any luck? I'm game anytime you're ready.

I'm glad you got some extra, money got tight around the holidays and I had family visiting(had to do tourist stuff). Let me know when you get them in, I'll probably have you send them to an address in the mainland since I'll be moving soon. Also, like BadQ asked, what's the word on the KYB's?

not knowing a whole lot about this at all, but knowing my '99 Q touring had some spring probs, where do I go to read more about these replacements *and* specs and such on the originals?

I can pull out my pre-purchase test and tell you what Infiniti of Gwinnett said was wrong 'exactly', if need be....

I feel like such a weasel cause I don't have the time I want / need to dedicate to learning everything there is to know about this car...

Well Kevin is driving his 98 around with them now for awhile, I personally saw his car and it looks great with the drop. I also bought a set of the springs from him and I'm waiting for the KYB shocks to come in.

If you want anything other than stock Nissan this is the only source, trust me I looked high and low. These are made for JDM and fit perfectly for a pretty darn low price, you cannot go wrong.

Just a little update, 3 sets have been paid for now, that leaves 2 up for grabs, and 1 of them is pending. Anyone interested better stop thinking and just do it! They should be here by the end of this month to the beginning of March.

On the KYB shocks, you can't believe some of the shipping quotes I've gotten, but believe me guys, I am determined to figure an affordable way to get them over here.

Update:

Got a call from my shipper and he says they're still about 3 weeks out, so I just want everyone to know. I think when I said 6-8 weeks, I should have said 8-12 weeks. Oh well, they're almost here in any event, that's just what you deal with when stuff comes by ship.

There are still 2 sets available, and someone is supposed to be sending a deposit on one set today.

No prob, I know what it's like to pay for something and then sit around waiting for it! It always seems like it will never arrive.

Another Niconaut just placed his deposit, thanks Blind6.

ONLY ONE set left, don't lunch out on it!

Falk,No problem, getting excited about this setup just glad there was a set available still.

When you replaced all your bushings did you go OEM or are there other alternatives available?

One set is here (don't ask me how that happened) the other 4 should be here next week. I can ship the one set now, but I'd rather go pick them all up at once if you guys don't mind. Otherwise, I would ship the set that's here to the first person who paid.

It doesn't really matter. If you want to wait till next week to pick up the rest and then ship that is fine by me. Although if you want to ship the one set and nobody is in a real hurry then I will take it . Thanks for the update though.

Yeah, Mike paid first, but if I can wait and just make one trip out to pick them up, I'd rather do that. It's not that far, but it's L.A. far (over 15 miles is far to us, lol).

Any news yet? My front struts are gone so I want to kill 2 birds with one stone and put the springs on at the same time as the struts.

Falk, I'm going to send you another mailing address for my springs....I'm not going to be have time to put them on here in HI, so I'm gonna have to install them in the mainland along with shocks.

I find that kind of odd. Arn't they all coming over on the same boat? Maybe they put all 5 sets into one big box and buddy over there at shipping has no idea what he has

Anyways I hope they get here soon so that I can lower the car and put my wheels on.
