That's how Skyline sedan windows go down in the rear, as you can see right here.

Now from what I understand you have to reply. I have no idea how to bookmark threads though.

You still wont be able to drive them if they are 50years old, its not just emissions that doesnt allow Skylines in the states, its also safety issues. They dont adhere to the rules that our wonderful government has laid down as acceptable for being "safe"

How much "less safe" are skylines than USDM cars? What are the big differences? I'm not all that familiar with Skylines, yet I can't imagine that a car that typically outperforms the majority of american cars on a track is unsafe to dd. For instance, Miatas, Smart cars, escorts, etc. are all legal USDM cars and the occupants are most certainly unsafe in a crash in all of them.

Shot a few pics with my buddies down in the Port of Long Beach a few nights ago. Here are some of them:

The last pic came out weird.

You can check my blog for the rest of the white S14. It's definitely "best Kouki S14s ever thread" worthy. Haha ;)

Hence the reason I put safe in quotes. Like I said, they dont match up with the US safety standards.

the reason they aren't sold here is because of emissions and safety/crash testing. once a vehicle is 25 years old, it no longer has to comply with emissions standards or safety inspections since the car would be considered a "collector car" by the us.

Im curious if thats really the case for imported cars because they never abided by the rules here, where as the American Collector cars passed the laws of the time it was built in.
