Finally started the EL ES JUAN (LS1). Video quality is crappy, but it's small. The audio is what counts anyways. Updated pic below...

Still debating...haha. You got me there. Actually, I think the filters will go outside the bay, but there will be a pie cut/lobster back 'Y' intake pipe that will exit on both sides of the bay if I get around to it.

Gotta keep that symmetry.

I refuse to add it all up because it would probably make me sick. I wanted to make sure I did everything exactly the way I wanted (within reason). I put in a stock motor w/ 29K miles controlled by a Painless Wiring Perfect Standalone that comes tuned for a stock motor. I spent so much making everything work properly and making it as bulletproof and clean as possible, that I will have to take a break (financially) before I do any more power mods. Hell, I spent $150 on hi-temp/hi-quality wire loom alone, so you can imagine what I spent overall.

With computer and long tube headers/GT Spec exhaust, it should be approaching 350hp/tq to the wheels, so I'm not too worried about power right now, just reliability.

Yes, I'm still ugly. Went w/ the Russell Pro Classic Hose (Black nylon w/ blue tracer)

Brock has his S14 up and running w/ RB26 and in the process of putting on an HKS KAI kit on it. Put a 5.0 in his Ranger Splash and is currently putting a ladder bar setup, roll cage, and 347 stroker w/ Vortech blower on it.

My thoughts exactly! Haha, exactly why I did it.

It's a handful, that's for sure, but after hearing it start...well worth it. I am in a whole nother world right now knowing that it starts. Once I get all the loose ends buttoned up and get everything in place, it's time for the maiden voyage. So far, no oil or fuel leaks! Power steering is the next test.

Don't let it run long w/o a damned radiator... jeesh. I wouldn't run it till it was completely done.

Anyways, that + s14 = you gonna have your handsfull anywere that car goes, especially in the rain. Hope you got an LSD...

Looks fun though.

Awesome build! I'm still on the lookout for a motor for my car. How is the Painless system? Pretty easy installation, right? Does it allow for easy tuning down the road as well?

Haha, it'll take longer than 15 seconds for it to get to operating temperature. I just wanted to make sure the damn thing ran before adding coolant in case I had to pull that ***** back out. I HATE coolant! Yes, I have an LSD and don't plan on driving it in the rain. I've been driving an S14 since 96, so I don't expect having too much trouble keeping it going straight even with the new found torque.

I'm VERY glad I went with the Painless, because...well, it was just that. At the moment, it is setup for a completely stock motor and they are in the process of releasing the software. So, for now, I'm "stuck" w/ the current setup.

I should be down that way at some point to hang out w/ a co-worker of mine and I go down on business every once in a while.

I wish that would work, but the clearance between the throttle body and radiator is too small and needs a much tighter bend.

Glad someone noticed. Makes me wonder if anyone is actually really looking at the pic. :p

1) I relocated the fuse box to the trunk where the factory jack used to be. If I had it to do over again, I would probably remove the passenger side air bag and take apart the fuse box, only keeping the necessary circuits. Long story short, it was a pain, but my bay is a lot cleaner because of it.

2) The red horns are Hella Air Horns. Since you're all aware of how puny and pathetic the stock 240 horn is, I decided to upgrade. They come with the two horns you see and a compressor. I think they're rated at 118 dB? So, needless to say, no jacka$$ on the road will be mistaken that you are blowing your horn. Nissan Motorsports has had them in their catalog for years and bring up a good point about being able to hear it over track noise in case a situation arises. I had them on my old S14 daily and loved them.

Yeah, I'm a finnicky focker.

Fox Body...he's going to sell it. He's pulled out the drivetrain to use in the Ranger so it's mostly just a shell.

Got the fuel rail covers, but I'm not happy with them, so time to sell and figure something else out.
