Wow. The wiring would be what deterred me. So if you order custom motor mounts, subframe etc. It is pretty easy?

No, not much point as I'm pretty sure it's making right around 350 crank hp (stock motor w/ tune and full exhaust), but I'll get on it soon enough just to know.

Sorry about that...missed your post. I e-mailed a guy after his auction ended on Ebay (he had it end early in the morning so nobody bid past the reserve). He contacted me and told me that's what he needed out of it and to come get it. Just got lucky.

On a fanciful note, if by some miracle one would have some spare change lying around after the swap, is a twin turbo setup possible as of yet? I've heard rumblings but haven't seen anything confirmed.

You would not want to do it after. Too many variables would have to be planned for to complete the swap just to add turbos after.

It's definitely possible, I just went this route to stay away from turblows. Too much headache and too much heat...especially with 2. If I ever turned this into an almost all out drag car...yes, I would go big single or twins in a heartbeat.

Since we have VERY few LS1 swaps inwork or done on Nico, posting such questions is not a problem. I run my forums differently then alot of others, I don't discourage people from asking questions, no matter how ghey they may appear to you. It's my job to move/edit/delete things as I see fit.

You have to remember that Mr Nichols is ghey...

If you preplan for a single or twin setup it's not that much harder then a NA install. Especially since you need custom headers made anyway. Instead of swapping parts like heads/cam/intake mani you can just add a few lbs of boost and you'll be sitting at 500WHP with basically no engine mods.

A bigger single would be the easiest plumbing wise.

This seems such a silly question, seeing as how most of these people probably haven't even driven a 350HP car.

I too would be happy with a NA motor making those kinda numbers, because of how much more responsive an all-motor setup is compared to turbo. 500HP is wicked to handle, and expensive to maintain. Good choice.

Now what would be the smallest turbo that could be run without sending EGT's through the roof?

I wouldn't run anything smaller then a T67. But you can easily go huge because you don't need anymore torque off the line then you'll already have. So a T88 would be nice....

Wow. Very nice Chris. I noticed you chirping first and second . What size tires are you running?

When's the dyno and drag vids coming?

Need new tires. Only running 235s at the moment because they were free.

Am looking to find a deal on some 275/45/17 Drag Radials or something like that.

Dyno footage in maybe two weeks...drag, not sure. It won't be anything insane...hoping for a mid 12 second pass. But, it is a stock motor w/ no power adders, so it will be good for now.
