Yeah, but I gave up, I want an ae86 but everyone who owns an ae86 doesn't want a 240sx no matter what the trade.

Soo i'm gonna stay with this chassis, its been reliable, why ditch it.

i dont think you realize that this isnt some "i can do this in my garage with hand tools" affair.

requires a new slot to be cut in the inside of the hub for a snap ring to seat into to hold the smaller s13 bearings into the j30 hub.

and good luck pressing 20+ year old bearings out in good condition, then repressing......

not as easy as it seems.

aussies tend to love doing this mod. apparently they ALL have machine shop access.

I know you guys love powered by max and i've been buying all they're suspension arms lately, and was wondering do any of you use they're solid subframe bushings?

is it worth taking your subframe out. my whole suspension is out so it should only be like 4 bolts to take it out? I'm debating if its worth the money and time wile i have it tore apart.

and if i do I was honestly going to paint it orange too! ;p

I have a spare subframe in my garage that needs gone. You could mock everything up on that, then just drop the whole subframe in as one piece with the risers in.

By the way, the risers make a WORLD of difference.

Yeah. +1 One of the best mods to do. Shineyness too! But the feel yes.

It's worth it especially if your susp. arms are already off just do ittt! I covered it a lot in my build thread some pages ago in june 09. The most annoying part is removing the bushing sleeves with a hacksaw and hammering them out but you'll get good at it by the 3rd one at least lol.

So Keegan and I got the deal of the century. Price will be kept Top Secret, only a few local guys know the price. Came with the harnesses for free, so we couldn't pass this one up.

I'm going to be ordering Buddy Club rails sometime this week.

Oh, the guy knew exactly what he had. He just had no need for them and needed money for a downpayment on an RX8.
