Greg,I am deeply saddened by the loss of your wife. She seemed like quite an amazing person, and quite a large part of the foundation that keeps NICO running.

But, a poet once wrote:

"Though lovers be lost, love shall not, and Death shall have no dominion..." - Dylan Thomas, 1933

I hope this affords you some measure of comfort.

Like many others, I had no idea.

Greg has been so helpful in getting people to participate in TrueDelta's research, and so upbeat in all of his emails to me, and he does so much to make this site a thriving community, that I simply had no idea he was going through something like this. I already thought Greg was among the most amazing people I've encountered on the Internet. And all while going through something like this?

It's a bit too easy for me to imagine what it must be like. I have a wife about the same age, and we also have three kids. Just this morning I was arguing with my wife via email about some insanely priced groceries she bought. This truly puts things into perspective.

My deepest, most heartfelt condolences to Greg and his family.

Greg & Family,

There is nothing that I can say that has not already been stated previously.

If you need anything, merely ask.

Greg I am so sorry to hear this. I just talked to you a few days ago (I bought the headlights) and you told me she was ill, but I had no idea it was this bad. My condolences to you and your family. I will be making a contribution to the college fund.

"We can live and be happy again. Some feel that we cannot go on or ever be happy again without our loved one. But time slowly heals the wounds of the heart, and we dare to laugh again (at first when no one is looking, lest it not be proper). We begin to discover that there is more strength within us than we believed. "

I never know the right words to say at times like these, but I feel compelled to say; that NICO is a family and even though I never met you or your wife and family, you are my brother in Christ. I will keep you in my prayers and you know if you need anything NICO will do all they can....

Psalm 22:24For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one;he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help.

greg, i am at a loss for words. i lost my father less than a year ago. i know that it isn't quite the same, but i know how it feels to lose someone that meant everything to you. she was an awesome woman, and i always enjoyed talking to her when i could. she always made me smile, and i always thought it was so cool she liked my car so much. i know that she is looking down on you and proud of the man and father you are.i don't live far from you, please please please let me know if there is ANYTHING i can ever do for you.

Hey AZ, I'm terribly sorry to hear about your loss, Lauren informed me of it a day or two ago. It's very hard to lose someone so close to you that means so much, it might feel like a snuff from life sometimes, anger, pain, sorrow and lament will be a big part of your routine for times to come. In your case you will have to be even stronger as now you have to play a double roll with your growing kids.

I can relate to your loss a bit, my father passed away back in 98' from the same enemy. He had cancer for 14 years but they couldn't find out what was wrong with him untill it was near-terminal, it was very hard for me to deal with and accept, and it didn't click in untill a while later. My thoughts and wishes go out to you, your family, and your kids, be strong AZ, we're all counting on you to keep pushing forward.

A good thing to remember is all the good times that were had that can bring a smile to your face even in the worse conditions.

My condolences to the Childs Family.

I'm a newbie here at Nicoclub.com; but I do recall being warmly welcomed by AZhitman upon my 1st post venture.

I feel a loss in that I never conversed with NICOmom.

AZhitman .. with all the posts that I've read, aside from this moment in time, you are a very fortunate man and the respect; love and friendship shown is commendable.

I pray for you and your young family ...
